Each of the three glasses holds a standard 1.5-ounce shot just like you would get in a typical U.S. single shot glass.

Each of the glasses is made from ceramic and look like tiny Canon EF 24-105mm lenses. You can also use the shot glasses for things like holding paper clips and change if you want. They come in a gift box for helping the special photo geek in your life get the shot they really need.

The little shot glasses come three to a package for $18 (USD). These glasses are out of stock right now, but I bet more will be coming so keep your eyes peeled on Photojojo.

While this might seem an odd peripheral for some people, especially those that have both a plain old calculator and a mouse on their desks, the mouse can double as a numeric keypad. Most of today’s new, minimal keyboards eschew the numeric keypad, so this is really handy for bringing that back.

This mouse has Bluetooth connectivity and is made out of recycled materials from Canon copiers.

If you don’t like the layout of these buttons, you could always just ask Google or Wolfram Alpha to do your calculations for you (which is what I do).

Before you jump for joy, remember that the iPhone’s 5-megapixel sensor is pretty paltry, so don’t expect to take DSLR-quality photos with it. However, it might come in handy if you want to have a bit of fun. Honestly though, if you’re carrying along these big lenses, might as well just carry along your DSLR. The only reason would be to give the iPhone some more visual control, and for its instant sharing options.

The lens mount is selling for $249 (USD) and will ship in August from Photojojo. At that price, you might be better off spending the money on another lens for your DSLR.

What you’re looking at is the latest in Canon DSLR technology, it’s a camera that runs on pocket change instead of batteries. Nope, I lied. Actually, it’s just a piggy bank, but it sure looks like a Canon EOS7D DSLR, doesn’t it?

It’s designed to look like a Canon EOS 7D, along with an EF 70-200mm USM II lens, which can be detached when you want to get your coins out. The kit even includes a matching lens hood, to complete the look. A real EOS 7D, along with these accessories would set you back about $4000. On the other hand you could buy more than 100 of these piggy banks for the same price.

Funny thing about it is that you usually try and hide your money in something that doesn’t look valuable, like an old shoe box, or a soda can with a false bottom. In this case, you’ll be storing your precious coins in something that actually looks expensive, further enticing thieves to walk off with it.  Still, if you’re a photography buff, you’ll probably want to get one of these to put up on your shelf to collect your spare change.

Mike had a bunch of parts he was going to put in the trash, and decided to give them new life as a robotic sculpture. He gathered up discarded circuit boards and parts from friends and family too, and managed to build a robot with quite a personality.

He’s got body parts from Dell, AMD, IBM, Maxtor, Toshiba, Sharp, Gateway among others. Nice touch there with the CPUs and flash drives for his brains.

I especially like the eyes – which came from some old Canon and HP digital cameras. You know that thing they say about the eyes being the window to one’s soul, right?

All in all, it’s a loving tribute to technology that at one point was an integral part of someone’s livelihood, education or entertainment. I think we need to build an entire shrine to old technology filled with these guys.

Last year we were so far from the Christmas play that you could barely tell Santa from his reindeer. If you have a similar issue with getting places on time what you need is a new camera like the Canon SX30 IS that debuted today with a substantial 35x optical zoom lens. The camera can also record 720p HD video using the full zoom range of the lens.

The focal range of the camera is 24mm to 840mm and that 24mm is wide angle to get more of a scene in from close up. The camera has a 14.1MP image sensor and has tons of automatic features and scene settings to make it easy to use. The LCD on the camera is 2.7-inches and is angle adjustable for Live View image shooting. The SX30 IS will ship in September for $429.99 (USD).

Well, I have to say no. I don’t know how long it’s been since I touched a camcorder. Who needs one when you can just use your cell phone or digital camera to shoot video?

Sure, the Vixia can capture 1080p HD footage, but if you are willing to spend hundreds of dollars on a video camera, then you can just get yourself one of the latest dSLR which will actually record incredible crisp HD video footage, and give you all of the lens capabilities of a dSLR at the same time. For example, Canon’s very own EOS Rebel T1i dSLR shoots 15.1 megapixel still photos AND 1080p HD footage and is available for under $750 (USD) these days.

Anyway, if you still care, the Canon Vixia HFS11 series of camcorders feature a 3.5-inch touchscreen, dual SD card slots, face detection, and image stabilization. The top-of-the-line models include up to 64GB of storage, and sell from $1,000 to $1,400 (USD). The entry-level models don’t have a touchscreen but start off at $550 for 8GB of storage and $690 for 32GB.

That’s because this isn’t an digital camera at all. It’s actually a intricately detailed 2GB USB flash drive version of the popular digital camera. The tiny dSLR even features a light-up back panel when you plug it into your computer. Of course, it is a bit unwieldy to fit into most USB ports, so you’ll probably need to connect it via the included extension cable.

Apparently some sort of promotional item from Canon, these little cameras are pretty hard to come by. But with a little digging over on eBay you might be able to find one of these nifty collectible flash drives. Just be prepared to pay through the nose (there’s actually one up there right now for $103 USD) if you just have to have one. Me? I’ll just admire this one from afar.
