I’ve seen some offbeat casemods in my travels, but I haven’t seen one quite this odd in a while.
Apparently, some guy from Holland came across this cheese display prop and said to himself, “I’ve always wanted a PC that looked like a wheel of cheese”…

Got a broken old iPod lying around? Besides dropping it in the dumpster, what else can you do with it? Well if you’re like this resourceful modder, you turn it into a mouse.
After stefferroo’s brother dropped his iPod under his car and then proceeded to run it over, it was surely headed for the trash bin…

This bold all-in-one computer borrows its combo concept from the iMac, but is actually a gaming PC. Modder Ville ‘Willek’ Kyrö always liked the idea of small-form-factor computers, but wanted the expandability and power to run his PC games…

The other day, I came across this Cold war-era Geiger Counter PC casemod, and passed along the erroneous notion that it was created by some Russian modder. In fact, it was built by a guy named Andy over at widefault, right here in the good old US of A…

Before all you budding nuclear physicists attempt to correct me, I know this isn’t truly a Geiger Counter. It’s actually one of those Cold-War era Ion Chamber radiation detectors. But that’s not what most of us think, so I’ll stick with the more familiar Geiger name…

I’m not sure why nobody ever thought of this before, but I think it’s a cool idea. This clever casemod took the shell from an old flight data recorder (a.k.a. “Black Box”) and transformed it into a Linux server…

This (somewhat creepy) 3D anime lass is actually hiding a nefarious secret- behind her back lurks a dastardly PC mod!
Um, wow, I guess if you’re really lonely and have a lot of time on your hands this is a good idea. This is a handmade mod, by Katsuya Matsumura, and she’s made from styrofoam and painted by hand…

Got an old Macintosh or Mac Plus lying around? There’s got to be something better to do with it than turn it into an aquarium, right?..

If King Tutankhamen could have been buried with his computer, this would have been the one - without a doubt.
Conceived and constructed by Chris Kramer (a.k.a “Jadragon”), his EgyptMod PC is detailed with intricate hieroglyphics and encrusted with jewels…

This certainly isn’t the first time that I’ve seen a steampunk computer design, but it’s a quick way for you to turn your machine into something that H.G. Wells himself would be proud of. Recently sighted over on eBay, here’s a set of custom-modded steampunk accessories for your PC…

Here’s an amazing Xbox 360 that looks like it just crawled its way out of the Everglades. The alligator-themed 360 is covered with a lizard-textured skin, and even has an realistic alligator eyeball in place of its power switch.
Rest assured, no actual alligators were harmed in the making of this console…

Back in its day, the design of the classic iMac was pretty groundbreaking. Sure, by today’s standards, the original iMac was a little bulbous, but did it really deserve this punishment?
The mutant offspring of an old G3 iMac and a VHS deck, Cory Baker’s iVHS casemod is one of the ugliest Mac designs I’ve ever seen…
