He has nice long arms and legs and looks like he might actually be climbing through some trees with his Wookiee family on Kashyyyk. Now, I’m not saying that Chewie is lazy (I don’t want him pulling my arm out of it’s socket, after all), but this one also looks a lot like a sloth. I guess that’s what makes him so adorable.

Sadly, you can’t buy this one right now. Hopefully, maker Denn Rodriguez will create more of this guy for her Etsy shop. He sure does look soft and cuddly. If all Wookies looked like this, no being in the Star Wars universe would be scared of them.

These drink mixes come in their own lithographed metal cans and are branded with one of our favorite characters of the Star Wars universe. The three drinks include Vader’s Dark Side Roast, Chewbacca’s Hoth Cocoa, and Yoda’s Dagobah Green Tea. I could be down with some Hoth Cocoa on a cold day – that sounds good.

The three flavors come together in one set. I’m not sure how large the cans actually are, but there’s just a small sampling of each. There are three ounces of ground coffee, an ounce of tea leaves, and 8 ounces of cocoa mix. That’s not a lot, but let’s face it you are paying for the cans much more than the contents. I mean, I guess that’s what a baby Wookiee might look like, but with all of that white hair, this could also be Chewbacca’s shriveled up old grandpa. Maybe a hybrid Ewok/Wookiee (Ewookie? Wokwook?) created in an Imperial lab somewhere in order to finally pay those furry bastards back for Endor. Whatever the hell it is, it scares me. I would love to wear this on Halloween night. I would get tons of candy too, because everyone knows that Wookiees are capable of ripping people’s arms out of their sockets when they aren’t happy. After Halloween I would wear it while walking along some back country roads, so others could have a Bigfoot sighting and post the video to YouTube. Before you know it, people would notice that Bigfoot is looking more like a Wookiee and Chewie sightings would be the next big thing. Too bad I don’t have the talent to make one of these myself.

The mosaic is nice and clean. It features C-3PO, R2-D2, and Chewbacca. These characters do seem to gel together in the movies and they do the same in this mosaic. There are more characters hidden away. I think I see a Luke Skywalker or Wedge Antilles peeking out as well.

Needless to say that I’d like to have one of these in my house, but I doubt that my wife or the new occupants of our duplex would approve.

But what if your kid is a little older, and really wants a taste of the Dark Side? Etsy seller katesy has got just the thing. What about for parents who hate their kids? I’ve got something for you as well: for only $20 to $37, the Chewbacca costume will ensure that your kid will have no treats – or friends – come Halloween. Your kid will look like Ultimate Warrior dunked in poo.

I’m not really that big of a Star Wars fan though, so I don’t which Episode Pizza Baby appeared. Was Pizza Baby in the Cantina scene?

You can completely geek out your kid’s room with all kinds of Star Wars pillows, sheets, duvet covers, and what have you- including my favorite piece (that I might have to grab for my couch) which is a pillow with the iconic opening text.

These official Star Wars pieces are available individually from Pottery Barn Kids. They range from $24 to just under $200 for the various parts, in case you just want a splash o’ Star Wars instead of going the whole hog.

The one thing I do take issue with is that they’re listed under “boys bedding” which is just silly because I know loads of little girls who would totally dig this! You know, I would get a set for myself but I worry that people might think I was a little intense. Or that I looked really really really really old for my age.

The belts are made by Refinding, a wee company out of Kansas City that makes accessories out of all kinds of trash, er, reclaimed materials, like tire treads, tennis balls, typewriter letters, and, in this case, used trading cards. Refinders Sean and Linda use the word “trashion” quite liberally to describe their unique approach to accessorizing.

The belt is described as “Trading cards laminated, stitched to heavy nylon and then harnessed for the nefarious purpose of **holding up your pants.**” But since they sell this handmade and unique piece of fan-fashion for a mere 32 bucks, it doesn’t seem like there’s much malice to be found.
