There have been a bunch of replicas of the Batpod, which was made famous in the most recent Batman movie The Dark Knight, but this is one of the rare ones that’s street legal. At least, I hope so.

This replica, dubbed the PS-Pod, for Pankaj Shah, the current owner, was commissioned by Chopper City USA and uses an all metal bodywork. Inside the custom frame, you’ll find the drive train from an Aprilia Mana 850. In order to make this version street-legal, the seating position has been altered to one similar to a chopper bike.

It probably cost a bunch of money to make and stands out like a sore thumb, but if you love the Batpod, this is the only way to go, unless you decide to DIY your own – or you’re lucky enough to win one in a raffle.

A pair of soft, brightly colored rotors help to propel the Roboppi (ROBO-P) flyer upwards and produce stable flight.

As it flies through the air, colored LEDs inside the spinning body of the Roboppi blink rapidly, producing a whirlwind of color. Roboppi can fly around for up to 6 minutes at a time on a 25 minute charge.

Of course the pint-size flyer is no match for your cat…

Until recently, the Roboppi was only available in Japan, but thanks to the guys over at the Japan Trend Shop, you can get one flown in pretty much anywhere on the globe for $41 USD + shipping.
