Wii 360 Controller Mashup

A console modder known as sir crx has fabricated a mashup between an Xbox 360 controller and a Wii-mote, allowing the Wii control to operate the Xbox 360.

From what I can tell, he modified the 360 controller to accept Bluetooth commands, then uses it as a proxy for connecting to the Xbox through Microsoft’s proprietary wireless scheme…

X-Arcade Dual Tankstick Controller Front

I recently had the opportunity to sit down with the X-Arcade Tankstick home arcade controller and put it through its paces. It’s definitely worth a look for you die-hard arcade gamers out there.

Let me start off by saying that the Tankstick is a one mammoth controller. It’s meant for serious arcade game fiends, and those who just have to have the biggest toys on the block…

Novint Falcon Foce Feedback Controller

Sure, there have been many so-called “force feedback” controllers for computers and video games, but this is the first time I’ve seen one that really means it.

Unlike most force devices which simply vibrate or drag, the Novint Falcon lets you control in 3-dimensions and actually can push against your grip with as much as 2 pounds of force…

PS3 Xbox 360 Controller Hack by Ben Heck

Console modder extraordinaire Ben Heck is at it again. This time, he’s carefully taken the guts of the Playstation 3’s SIXAXIS controller and sandwiched them inside of an Xbox 360’s wireless controller.

There’s something that’s oh-so-wrong but oh-so-right about the strange bedfellows coming together to form a single mutant controller…

Xbox 360 Keyboard Controller

Earlier today, Gamespot made mention of an upcoming QWERTY keyboard add-on for the Xbox 360 controller. Since that time, the post was yanked, but Engadget posted some rather slick looking images of what the controller could will look like.

There were rumors as far back as 2005 that Microsoft would release such a device, but those never came to fruition…
