Now you’ll be able to work your fingers to the bone in an effort to please Mama in all sorts of real-world activities without any of the real world rewards! Yes, it sounds a little silly on paper, but when it comes right down to it, we just can’t resist Mama’s smiling face.

Gardening Mama is due this month, but Crafting Mama is just a new trademark–beyond that, there’s no word on it yet, though it’s easy to guess that it’s going to involve Mama, mini-games, and making things.

Crafterbation, whose name is as awesome as her crafterbating skills, turned an ordinary apron into something most legendary by adorning it with the…uhm…”FAILED!” graphic of Cooking Mama. Hmm. I’m on to something here. Anyway.  Here’s the original graphic:

Minus the gigantic “FAILED!” of course. Here’s an excerpt from Crafterbation’s crafterbating walkthrough: “So I got to work making patterns from the screen cap of the game. Then I traced all the patterns onto paper-backed, double-sided fusible webbing. When I was done tracing, I ironed the fusible webbing onto the felt and got to cutting.” Fusible Webbing. This post has some of the best words ever.

As good as the apron looks in these pictures, I think the person who received this gift will love how the layers of felt literally add depth to Mama.
