Ever wanted to know how hot that stove was before you put your hand right on it? Sure, you could use one of those cheap little pocket temperature sensors to tell you the temp, but what are you, some sort of a hilbilly? What you really need is one of these newfangled Splinter Cell-esque imaging cameras…

I got a fever, and actually the only prescription is not more cowbell, but more Tetris. Lately I’ve been having a slight obsession with that beloved game of my young adulthood and I don’t know why. My yearning has been appeased a bit, though, thanks to these cool Tetrad Flat shelves by Brooklyn’s Brave Space Design…

Check out this ridiculous computer case made entirely out of cooling fans. I’m assuming the builder of this case was frustrated with their tricked-out system overheating all the time.
The case was assembled from 66 individual cooling fans, keeping the system icy cold all the time…

These amazing micro robots measure in at under 1/4 cubic inch in volume, and weigh less than an ounce. Sandia National Labs has developed these tiny automatons which operate on the power of three watch batteries.
Teensy little treads drive the bots over a variety of surfaces (although at a rate of only 20 inches per minute)…

I’ve written about so many modern digital watches that sacrifice ease of use for cool design (I’m talking to you, TokyoFlash). So it’s a breath of fresh air to see a modern digital that manages to balance looks with ease-of-use.
The Fusion DT1 is actually pretty easy to figure out after a quick read of the instruction sheet…

I’m absolutely in love with these cool metal robot watches. Not only can you wear them on your wrist, they pop out of the band to become mini-clocks you can put on your desk…

Just in time for that Halloween fog machine, this strange looking contraption will let you make as much dry ice as you want. Just add a canister of compressed liquid CO2, and it’ll do the rest.
The Portable Dry Ice Maker can crank out a one-pound block of dry ice in less than a minute…

This nifty airplane-inspired desktop fan will help you keep your cool while you’re slaving away surfing the Internet.
The fan plugs into your USB port, and has a soft “propeller” that’s designed to not slice your digits off if you happen to get in its way…

You better act quick if you want this great piece of Nintendo nostalgia for your house. It’s a Super Mario Brothers ceiling fan, circa 1988, that I found over on eBay.
I know Nintendo merchandised the hell out of this franchise, but a Super Mario ceiling fan? I think I’ve seen everything now…

Here’s a cool way to keep cool at your desk.
These retro USB fans from Willstyle look like some sort of cage fan from an old computer, but they’re all new. They have a substantial ball-bearing fan motor, and can really crank out some wind…

Sometimes, I just wish I lived in Asia so I could easily get my hands on the great gadgets they crank out. My favorite find of the day has to be this Korean desktop cooler that looks like a polar bear.
The perfect cure for a bland cubicle, the Marie Cool polar bear drink dispenser is just too goofy not to have one on your desk…

For some reason, this mini desk refrigerator makes me think of the spaceship from Mork and Mindy. [I'm (carbon) dating myself, I know.] Actually, it’s supposed to be a giant egg. Come to think of it, so was Mork’s ship.
The freshly hatched EGG LUTT refrigerator is perfect for keeping your brewskis and other snacks nice and cool…
