I can’t decide if these Pac-Man skull caps are awesome or just weird. Let’s just go with awesomely weird. The colorful ghosts of video games past make yet another appearance, this time as crocheted hats.
Crafter ShadowsInTheNyte hand knits these goofy ghost hats to look like familiar video game characters…

Looks like hero of Nintendo’s Zelda Juggernaut has gotten yet another makeover. This time, he’s been immortalized in adorable knitted amigurumi form.
Crafter Artoo1121 of Geek Central Station has really gone the extra mile with this amazingly detailed little Link. As a matter of fact, he’s so cute, I think I’m gonna puke…

If you don’t happen to have enough room for one of those 22-foot tall styrofoam robots to defend the homestead, that’s okay. Thanks to the wild and wonderful creations of robot insect builder TinyMinds, you can get your hands on some little robots which should do the trick just as well…

The only thing even more sickeningly sweet than the little squishy Mario is this plush and huggable mini-Yoshi.
All of these plush little guys are handcrafted by Kelley of LittleElfsToyshop using a technique called needle felting…

When I think of Origami, I usually think of little paper swans, or maybe the unicorn that Edward James Olmos made in Blade Runner. But who says that video games can’t get in on the paper foldin’ action?
Individually cut and folded by Flickr contributor Lidia F…

For the past couple of days, I’ve been holed up in a tiny country cottage with spotty, catch-as-you-can WiFi access. More often than not, I had no connection, and I started to think that figured the wireless router was intentionally messing with my head. Perhaps it was this plush evil wireless router that was disrupting my connectivity…

These sweet pixelated Dig Dug pillows are completely rocking this couch! Talk about a fruit bonus.
Dig Dug was one of the first games I mastered, so if anyone wants to make these for me, feel free. In fact, seeing these inspired me to fire up my Firenes app and check out how accurately these pillows were rendered. Of course, I ended up playing a few rounds. The verdict: I am no longer a master…

If you’re unfamiliar with the Russian craft of Matrushkas, they’re those little stacking wooden dolls that fit inside one-another, gradually getting smaller and smaller. Designer Art Lebedev has taken these traditional dolls and put a geeky spin on them, adding data storage measurements to each one…

The last thing you ever want to see on your good old iPod is the sad iPod icon. This usually tells of some sort of nasty failure of your iPod’s software or hardware, and is often a sign that you’ll soon be heading out to the Apple Store to pick up a brand new iPhone or iPod Touch. So I find it amusing that anyone would want to immortalize their sad iPod as a piece of art…
