The Poodle USB Hub has enough room to plug in four USB devices into cables, which make up the dog’s “legs,” and its eyeball lights up when it’s in use. Assuming you like poodles, I can’t think of a better USB hub for you.

How can you not love WALL-E? You can’t. Well if you have a soft spot in your heart for the little Pixar junkbot, you just might want to grab this guy for your desk.

This custom-made mini WALL-E is made out of various LEGO parts, and manages to capture his essence perfectly, despite the fact that he’s only made out of a handful of bricks, and stands just three inches tall. He’s even got a tiny little plant to carry around and protect – though I don’t see his cockroach pal anywhere.

LEGO WALL-E was made by Mariann Asanuma, a former LEGO Master Model Designer from LEGOLAND California, who now runs Folded Fancy Creations, offering all sorts of cool LEGO objects over in her Etsy shop.

While it’s decidedly more menacing than WALL-E, I particularly like her LEGO Boba Fett Ornament – too bad I didn’t know about that in time for Christmas. The little bounty hunter would have looked nice on our tree. Well, there’s always next year, I suppose.

I’m going to go out on a limb and bet you these are the cutest, fuzziest Star Wars characters you’ll see today. These little needle-felted guys come to us from a galaxy far, far away, where even Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers aren’t imposing in the least.

All of these cute little Star Wars characters were handmade by Etsy artist Liberty Kraftz, and the collection includes everyone from Luke, Leia and Han, to R2 and Yoda. Each one measures between about 2 inches and 4 inches tall, and are made from fuzzy wool. Those are all sweet, but the gooey (and now hairy) Jabba the Hutt has to be my personal fave…

Han is tiny Bantha fodder for sure. Or at least he’ll be frozen in <del>carbon</del>Woolite. You can find all of these guys over at Liberty Kraftz Etsy shop now, where you can grab them up for $18 each.

We all know that plush bears are cuddly, but Julius Santiago took it to a whole new level, by having some cuddly bears dress up in some famous costumes, from superheroes to Star Wars. Darth Vader isn’t exactly imposing in his new body, and it’s kind of hard to take Batman seriously when he’s a cute little bear.

Julius likes his cute little bears so much that he drew a bear a day for a year. You can find the archive of his project here.
A company could make a whole line of products based on this gimmick alone. Why stop at gummi bears? What about fried chicken scented earbuds, coffee scented earbuds or bacon scented earbuds? We can do this all day.

You can buy the Gummi Bear Scented Earbuds from Fred Flare for $18 (USD). I wonder how long the scent lasts. I wonder if it blends well with sweat.

Overflying closely the “crapgadget” category, the Audiobot is a cute speaker that can wear a striped knit ski beanie on its head. Why? To keep its head from catching a chill? It seems to me all it would do is distort the sound. Anyway, the thing can connect to any music player thanks to its 3.5mm jack, and charges via USB to give you enough juice for 4 hours of playtime.

You can get the Audiobot Speaker from Urban Outfitters for $16 (USD). Hats off, I say.

“Do you want to let your keyboard special?”, asks Etsy seller openandclose. You do? Oh goody!
The decals are made with Avery MPI vinyl and are supposedly very easy to clean or remove. The problem? They kinda obscure the keys. The rainbow design shown above is actually merciful compared to the other designs, which will have you vomiting with color shock or too much cuteness before you can find the key you want to press.

Whether you’re a Japanese toddler or teen, you love Rilakkuma. Apparently, this cute teddy bear is on its way to dethrone Hello Kitty in the realms of cuteness. This makes Rilakkuma perfect for companies trying to make their devices cute.

This Rilakkuma netbook is actually a tablet as well, although the Japanese like to call it a UMPC. It’s got a 8.9-inch touchscreen, 60 GB HD, TV Tuner, DVD drive, 1GB RAM, and two USB ports. It comes with a webcam, SD card slot, WiFi and Bluetooth. And teddy bears. Eating pancakes.

The most important thing for the target audience is that this Rilakkuma netbook comes with a bunch of pre-installed Rilakkuma wallpapers, super-cute icons and screensavers. The best part is that when users turn on the webcam, they can choose to see their faces in five different virtual Rilakkuma picture frames!

It will go on sale in Japan at the end of June for around ¥90,000 (appx. $990 USD). If you want it, you’d best contact Japan Trend Shop or Geek Stuff 4 U for help.

Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and what better way for us geeks to show our love than with another geeky shirt? But the 8-bit Dynamic Life shirt isn’t just any geek shirt; it’s specially made to show your loved one that you’re more alive with them around. When the wearers are far apart, the heart containers are depleted, with only 2 and a half hearts filled up.

But if the wearers get within “hugging distance” of each other, all of the heart containers fill up! Awwwwwwwwwwww, what a cute way of getting you to buy two shirts at once. Love (and radio frequency detection) at work.

Click to View Embedded Video Clip

You can get the 8-bit Dynamic Life shirts at ThinkGeek for $18 to $25 (USD) per shirt (price varies depending on size); in addition to everlasting love, you need to 3 AAA batteries for each shirt. But what if your special someone is a something? ThinkGeek’s got you covered – instead of buying another shirt, you can get a Transmitter Pack. Place it near your blow-up doll favorite object and watch your life max out when you get near it.

Months ago, I posted about a set of Ratchet & Clank vinyl figures created by two of Insomniac Games’ employees. Unfortunately, they were made exclusively for the good folks at Insomniac. Only a few sets managed to get into public hands, and those were through auctions.

I was very, very, jealous.

But the toy gods pitied me, it seems, and commanded Insomniac Games to sanction Ratchet & Clank figures for the masses. And while they aren’t quite as stylish as those in-house vinyl figures, DC Unlimited’s line is still charming. According to Sony’s PlayStation blog, the figures are already being sold at various comic book retailers. Now if only I had any clue where the closest comic book store to me was…

There are four sets in total for the series 1 Ratchet & Clank figures: armored Ratchet and Mr. Zurkon, Captain Qwark and Scrunch, Dr. Nefarious and Zoni, and of course, Ratchet and Clank themselves. Considering all the variations of Ratchet & Clank (armor, weapons, upgrades, etc.) more series lines are to come. I hope.
