While LCD and DLP sets continue to move towards LEDs as their light source, high quality Liquid Crystal on Silicon LCOS (a.k.a. Sony’s SXRD and JVC’s HD-ILA) displays have so far been left out in the cold…

If you’ve been intrigued by the excellent image quality of LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon) rear projection TVs, but don’t care for the depth of these screens when compared to LCD and plasma sets, you’re in luck.
Up until now, most LCOS rear projection sets have been around 19- or 20-inches deep…
