It’s made by artist Zairy Zin, using selective laser sintering 3D printing tech, and is a detailed version of Vader’s trademark helmet – other than the thousands of tiny holes in it to let the light shine through. The lamp is designed to go on a table, and the Sith Lord’s helmet measures about 5.12″ across. This means it’s more of an accent lamp than something you’d expect to light up an entire room with, but it’s not like I ever expected anything light to come out of Vader’s evil mask anyhow.

The white version is a limited edition, and sells for a rather pricey $585(USD) – but that doesn’t make it any less special in my book – though it does make me wonder where the black version is. If I had the money to spare, I’d definitely get a pair of these for my living room to flank my couch – or better yet, I’d love to have Vader on one side and a stormtrooper on the other. Too bad there is no stormtrooper lamp (yet.)

The collection includes eggy versions of Yoda, Darth Vader, Jabba the Hutt, Darth Maul, C-3P0, R2-D2, and Chewbacca. I think that the Darth Maul and R2-D2 eggs are great, though Jabba’s face is pretty classic.

It must have been quite difficult to paint these eggs with so many details. If you like them, you can probably reproduce these at home, assuming you have a steady hand – and can wait until next Easter, that is.

This gigantic Darth Vader soap weighs a full 1 kilogram (~2.2 pounds), and is sure to last you a very long time in the bath. At that size, it’s about 10 times the weight of an ordinary bar of soap, so you’ll probably need to slice it up to use it. It’s made by Etsy seller La Pretentieuse (The Pretentious), using their bamboo and spices soap as a base. While I never quite imagined that the aroma of the Dark Side was bamboo and spices, I suppose it’s better than the smell  of Anakin’s burnt flesh and sweat.

You should note that since the jumbo Vader soap is made with black oxide, that it’s lather will be grey – despite the fact that it’s getting you clean. I like to think that bathing with this would eventually pull you over to the Dark Side, but that’s just me.

Priced at $85(USD), it’s definitely the most expensive bar of soap I’ve ever seen, but somebody has to help fund the construction of the next Death Star I suppose.

Sadly you can’t buy these, but you can admire the design and wonder what it would be like to use these with an actual woman. And no, it won’t be Leia or Padme. Though if you’re lucky, you might just land a Twi’lek dancer.

Oddly enough, it seems pretty relaxing. Sounds like Vader sleeping really. If the Lord of the Sith had a wife, this is what she would hear all night, sleeping beside him. So, if you find yourself wound up too tight and stressing out, close your eyes and listen to this 10 hour video. Take some deep even breaths. It will calm you right down.

Vader should actually sell this under the name, “The Soothing Sounds of the Sith”. Maybe he could become some sort of New Age calming coach. Yoda’s breathing doesn’t calm anyone down, so who’s really the master?

Like many Star Wars fans, I’m always wondering how these characters would look in their daily lives when they’re not in the heat of battle or some other space drama. There’s nothing funnier than a Dark Lord of the Sith trying to have fun in the sun.

The 4-foot Darth Vader Lightsaber Umbrella has an aluminum shaft that’s been anodized into an iridescent red color, which continues the illusion of this being a Sith lightsaber. While some other umbrellas actually glow, I get the feeling that this one was made to be durable more than anything else. If you relate more to Anakin or Obi-Wan, they’ve got their own umbrellas too.

Each of the three lightsaber umbrellas is selling for £39.99 (~$63 USD) at Firebox and comes with a carrying sheath. I’m assuming that Luke isn’t represented because it doesn’t rain much on Tatooine.

Naturally, the most compelling poster is of Darth Vader, comprised of the Death Star and what looks the entire Imperial fleet, though the one of the stormtroopers made of stormtroopers is pretty cool as well.

The one of Boba Fett reminds me of a question that I think of every time I watch the Star Wars Saga again. Would George Lucas have fed Boba Fett to the Sarlacc if he had known the popularity of the ultimate bounty hunter ahead of time? Yeah, it turns out Fett actually escaped in Dark Empire, but that was clearly an afterthought. If you still like to imagine that Fett was chewed to pieces by the Sarlacc, this poster should serve as a reminder.

But I digress. These awesome posters were created by the agency Bleublancrouge, and if you’d like to see the exhibit behind these posters, it starts April 19th in Montreal and on October 27th in Edmonton. Let’s hope they take this show on the road.

It’s odd to me that the little kid looks identical to the one in the original painting. I probably would have changed him into a little Stormtrooper – but that’s just me.

The original Woman with Parasol was created by French impressionist painter Claude Monet back in 1875, and it’s currently on display at the National Gallery of Art, in Washington DC. It’s certainly a worth millions – if not priceless.

This Vader painting, on the other hand, was created by David Barton, and you can get a small (7.9″ x 10″) print of this piece of art via Imagekind starting at about $25(USD) Canvas prints start at $94.

The piece was created by Spanish designer Lobulo, who has a reputation for his intricate papercraft creations. He works for a few different agencies in Barcelona, and he recently created this awesome papercraft Darth Vader for Argentina’s Göoo Magazine. This astounding piece of Star Wars fan art uses lots of cut bits and strips of paper, carefully layered together, as you can see in the video below:

The trooper then told him to get up, but instead he punched and kicked the trooper, who deployed his Taser. Supposedly the suspects thick jacket prevented the Taser from working, (Our was it the fact that he is more machine than man?), so the trooper used pepper spray to subdue him.

To celebrate, a French fast food chain named Quick is offering two versions of themed burgers. You can get the Darth Vader burger on a black bun, (I don’t even wanna know how they made it black) and the Jedi burger, which is your typical brown bun that matches Jedi robes. They’ll also be offering a Darth Maul inspired “Dark Burger”, but that really should have a red bun, shouldn’t it?

So if you find yourself in Paris, forget their fancy shmancy gourmet food. Eat like an American and get yourself the usual grub, just Star Wars themed. If anyone eats that Vader burger, let us know about any unusual symptoms you might experience. I’m not trusting the dying process. Could be worse though, the Yoda burger might be moldy as to mimic Dagobah.

Bring me the head of Darth Vader and plug it into my MP3 player! As far as sound quality, it is likely on par with something that the Ewoks built, but at least it’s cool to look at.

This incredible sculpture is the work of French artist Alain Bellino, and yes, this Darth Vader (or as they call him in France “Dark Vador”) has apparently been around for almost a decade, but it’s the first time I’ve seen it, so that makes it new for at least one of us. So, those eyes I was mentioning before? They’re made from a couple of old tarnished spoons. Yep, you heard me right. Check it out if you don’t believe me:

Building upon these evil eyes, Alain gradually assembled the entire Vader head – first from brass and bronze decorative elements, but then eventually finished it in black, completing his transformation to the Dark Side.

Makes you wonder what Star Wars might have been like with a golden Darth Vader. Seems like something which might have been in some Japanese version of the films. Or maybe in the next CGI revision by Lucas.

The trays are made from durable silicone, and cast six large cubes of either the Dark Lord or his white armored minions. To really get the most out of these, I’d fill the Darth Vader ones with grape juice and the Stormtrooper ones with something white, like coconut milk or frozen piña coladas.

I think those white and black(ish) cubes would look much cooler floating in a glass of clear liquid too. Since the trays are made from silicone, they’re actually heat-resistant too, so you could also use them to bake some evil cookies or mini cakes.

But wait, there’s more! They’ve also revealed these sweet Millennium Falcon and X-Wing Fighter trays too. Sweet.

The Falcon seems better suited to baking cookies or larger frozen desserts though, while the X-Wing seems the perfect size for ice cubes.

All four of the new silicone trays will ship in May 2012, and can be pre-ordered from Kotobukiya’s U.S. website. Darth Vader, Stormtroopers, Millennium Falcon and X-Wing Fighter ice trays each sell for for $10 (USD). If you want an early jump on them, you might want to check out NCSX, who claims to have a January 2012 release date.

At the show, you’ll find costumes, models, and artwork from the movies. The exhibition is supposed to provide a “complete” interactive immersion into the world of Star Wars. It will focus on the characters of Luke and Anakin Skywalker and explore three themes: the origins of the characters, the influences that shaped them, and the choices they made during their lives.
