While Darth Vader and a few Stormtroopers might be dead already, and Boba Fett (nearly) perished in the Sarlacc pit, many of the other Star Wars characters have lived on. But if you’re to believe these images by artist Jeff Hulligan, several key characters are now among the dead (or the undead, if they’re Star Wars zombies.)

In addition to posthumous images of Vader and one of his Stormtrooper guard, we’ve got dead versions of one of the Rebel X-Wing pilots, Boba Fett, and sadly, R2-D2 and C-3P0, or as I like to call them – The Walking Droid. You may now proceed to slap me. These prints make me wonder what dead Luke, Leia, Han and Chewie might look like. Of course that could be Red 5′s skull above, but I’m going with Red Leader Garven Dreis.

Each 8.5″ x 8.75″ print is limited to just 50 pieces, and is signed by the artist. You can grab these Dead Star Wars prints over at Jeff’s Etsy shop for $10 each or for $50 for the full set of six.

Ever since 2007′s creepy CompuBeaver casemod, there hasn’t been too much news in the budding field of computer taxidermy. I suppose that had to change sooner or later.

This disturbing creation is a compact computer mouse that’s been stuffed into the carcass of an actual dead mouse. Now I’m not a big fan of live mice in general, but this just seems too cruel and unusual to me. If you have a weak stomach, do not scroll down.

I told you so. Don’t blame me if you just lost your lunch.

Instructables has a horribly gory tutorial on making your own dead mouse mouse. I do not recommend that you try this under any circumstance. But if you do insist on making one, please do not start with a live mouse, and never let your cat see it.

We all thought Nokia had finally given up on their abysmal N-Gage portable gaming console / mobile phone combo, but apparently they’re not quite ready to throw in the towel just yet.

Nokia has recently launched an updated N-Gage website touting that “In mid-2007, the N-Gage experience will evolve.” and other intentionally vague marketing pablum. There’s no specific mentions of new devices, software or launch dates, leading me to believe that some product manager has been assigned the task of keeping the N-Gage brand name alive, but hasn’t quite figured out what to do with it.

Now if the new N-Gage was really a Nintendo DS Lite with a phone and an Apple iPod built in, I might be interested. We’ll just have to wait and see what brilliant ideas Nokia has in store for us.
