Like classic arcade games? Why not treat your houseguests to a game of Pac-Man the minute they arrive at your home? I’m not proposing that you put an arcade cabinet on your front porch, though. This Pac-Man doormat should definitely do the trick.

Looks like Pac-Man is doing a pretty good job staying away from his ghostly nemeses, though it doesn’t look like he’s really made much progress yet.

While it would be way cooler if you could actually play Pac-Man by stepping on it, at least it’ll keep your shoes clean before they go stomping around your <del>maze</del> house. The Pac-Man doormat is available from OOO My Design for €30 (~$40 USD).

P.S. I think this thing should be renamed “Pac-Mat.”

Back before I was a full time geek, I had a real job in an office where I had to actually work and put up with a boss I always suspected was a bit deranged. Most of us have had jobs where we really didn’t like the boss or had coworkers that we wanted to punch. With that in mind, most of us can relate to the Dilbert comic strip.

I am a Dilbert fan, but I like Dogbert the most. If you are a fan of the comic, you will want to get your hands on these new wall graphics from LTL Prints. All of the characters from the Dilbert comic strip are available.

You can get the graphics sized for your laptop lid or in life-size (albeit NBA life-size) 7-foot range for sticking on the wall. The laptop graphics are $14.95 (USD) and the wall size is $149.95. Scott Adams said about the graphics, “They’re way better than coworkers. They won’t borrow your extra chair and they never talk.” I bet they don’t walk into your closet size office, fart, and then lock you in either.

Each clock measures in at about 10-inches square, making it about 175 times larger than a regular computer key. While you won’t be able to spell out “CTRL-ALT-DEL” if you hang three of these on the wall, you could buy all four and spell out “CTRL-ALT-ESC-ENTER”, which I believe makes flames shoot out of PCs running Windows XP or Vista – so don’t try this at home.

Computer key clocks are available from (the unfortunately named, but still cool) PHAG (that’s Philadelphia Home and Garden) for $18.50 (USD) each.

If you absolutely must share your love of Pokémon with the world, this is not a bad way to do it–by stitching little pocket monsters on your towels. It’s attractive, simple to match with other bathroom gear in bright colors, and anyone who isn’t a fan gets to wipe their hands on the Pokémon. Everyone wins.

Unfortunately, gamerghoul13 only had one available towel for Pokémon-stitching, but this one turned out so well (check out the detail) that he should track down a whole set! Throw down some nice red rugs, maybe dye a toilet set cover to look like a Pokéball… okay, maybe that would be too much.

Anyone can play a game of Tetris; the Russian classic is available in dozens of formats, and there are clones and knock-offs aplenty. You can even go the Soylent Green route and make your Tetris out of people if you are so inclined. But why not step head and shoulders above the rest and plaster a perennial game of Tetris on your wall? You may never win with a wall-decal game, but you’ll also never lose.

If Tetris is not your retro look — or game — of choice, the aptly-named Etsy shop VinylWallDesign has a few other interesting choices for you: Pac-Man and Space Invaders. We’re talking about the classics here.

The shop features several simpler designs that aren’t influenced by classic games, just in case you prefer penguins to cunningly fitting falling blocks together for hours. Prices for the sets range from $20 to $65.

Here’s a clock for people who are perpetually tardy, and want to stay that way. All of the digits on the dial of this wall clock have fallen off of the face, causing a major numeric pile-up at the bottom.

While Nextime’s Fallen Numeral clock does have a functional time mechanism, it really couldn’t give a damn about the actual time. Sure, the hands will move if you put a battery in there, but I certainly wouldn’t point them to the proper locations on the dial or that would defeat the purpose.

The clock measures just under 14-inches square and features a frosted glass background with black numerals. It’s available from Target for just $29.95.

If you thought those wall-size arcade artworks I wrote about the other day were a bit too bold for your taste, you might want to check out these slightly more subtle Tetris-inspired mirrors hanging on your wall instead.

UK product designer Soner Ozenc’s Tetris Mirror is comprised of thirteen interlocking mirrored acrylic panels, which can be arranged on your wall to form a rectangle, or broken apart into their individual puzzle blocks. Hopefully, these pieces won’t fall down at the same speed they do in the classic arcade game or you’ll have more than a few years of bad luck on your hands.

While I couldn’t find a retail outlet for the mirror, it looks like it comes in both A3 (11.7″ × 16.5″) and A4 (8.3″ × 11.7″) sizes, and in either silver or gold reflective surfaces. Post a comment if you happen to find a place where you can purchase these.

Whether you’re outfitting your media room with a Grauman’s Chinese Theater motif, or you just like scaly reptilians, these dragon speakers are sure to make a dramatic statement in your home.

Designed by UK studio Axelsson Design, these awesome dragon speakers look like something that belong in the villain’s lair in a John Woo film. The 2-way speakers are made from sturdy polyurethane plastic cabinets, and bass is actually ported through the mouth of each dragon (no fire breathing, however). Both the 1-inch tweeter and 4-inch woofer are provided by respected audio manufacturer Peerless.

The speakers measure about 15.4-inches tall, and are available in gloss black, white or candy apple red finishes. Axelsson also says they’ll embellish them in a color of your choice if you have something else in mind (how about something really off the wall, like a GREEN dragon?)

A pair of Axelsson’s dragon speakers will set you back $940 USD.

Did you cut your teeth dropping every last quarter of your allowance into arcade machines back in the 80s? Here’s a little something to bring back those memories whenever parked on your couch or reclining in your La-Z-Boy. Check out this great set of plush pillows of your some of your favorite arcade characters of yore.

Pac-Man, his ghost pals Inky, Blinky, Pinky, Clyde, and a slightly out of place Pooka from Dig Dug are all realized in three squishy dimensions. The pillows range in size from about 8-inches to 12-inches tall, and will look great sitting there on your sectional sofa next to the cat.

You can pick up the whole set for $99 at ClubNAMCO.
