The DZ7164 comes in all black, with a silicone band for comfort. The face of this watch is quite large, but that’s good in my book since I like big watches, especially ones with digital displays. The dot-matrix LED display reminds me of the Seiko Final Fantasy watch that they made a couple of years ago or the Spoon S.A.M.

It costs around $89 over on Amazon and is also available in white, blue, silver and a couple of other colors. If you like shiny things, the SBA (DZ7092), sells for $170 and offers a stainless steel case and mirrored display.

These boxers are all based on DC Comics characters. You can get Batman, Green Lantern and The Flash themed undies, as well as The Joker – but he’s not a superhero, so what is he doing in your underwear? They won’t give you super-powers, they will just make you feel like they do. Unless, that is, you consider light or temperature-sensitive prints that only show up under your own body heat, or designs that reveal themselves after time to be super-powers.

The Flash version is probably the coolest, since you don’t want those tacky Joker colors on your junk and also probably don’t want a Batsignal tramp stamp behind you. You can check them all out here. It’s called the Diesel SBA Black Out. It’s rather large and has an equally fat leather strap to fasten onto your wrist. The watch is also water resistant down to 50m. I can’t really tell if you can tell the time easily or not on this watch, since the main dial is somewhat recessed and a bit harder to read than the analog hands. It’s actually hard to tell if the digital movement is synchronized with the analog one, or if it just tells the seconds or time in another timezone. Either way, the design is appealing.

This Diesel watch is naturally called the Time Zone and it has both analog and digital displays to feed your fancy, no matter what the time.

It has a sleek leather strap and definitely looks good, although I have to say that I’ll probably get myself a GPS watch instead. Still, the Diesel Time Zone watch oozes style and will work well for frequent travelers.

Stumped? Well turn your wrist sideways, and then look again.

Instead of telling time on its face, the Diesel DZ9044 features a set of tiny side-mounted watches that can simultaneously tell time in four time zones. While the location of the watch faces isn’t all that practical, it’s certainly a stunning design.

The watch is constructed from durable solid stainless steel with a bold black ion-plated finish and a matching black leather band, and is water resistant up to 10 ATM (about 330 feet). And if black isn’t your thing, check out the DZ9045, which comes with a shiny stainless face and a brown leather band.

The DZ7090 not only features a futuristic dot-matrix LCD digital face, but enshrouds it in a shiny patent silver metallic band that’s sure to bring out the Major Tom in you. And just like the androgynous Bowie before it, the watch fits either men or women. So what are you waiting for? Get in your spaceship, blast off for the Diesel Time Frames shop, and plunk down your $140 spacebucks (or is that Starbucks?)

While I applaud this concept, I have two concerns which I must raise. The first concern is for those people whose travel lives are not so banally predictable as to include only these five cities. Hello, DUBAI anyone? I mean, that’s where all the serious ballers hang out now. Bangalore? Shanghai? Reykjavik, even? Luckily Diesel is offering a smaller watch of the same ilk that forgoes the pre-ordained time zones in favor of making you memorize which face corresponds to which town. (I suggest you come up with a mnemonic device.)

The second concern is that this watch is either ridiculously large or that the faces are ridiculously small, just because of the fact that there are so damn many of ‘em. But if you’re a big burly dude with 20/20 vision, it might work for you.

You can buy them for a mere $550 (for the big silver one) or $495 (for the daintier, more adventurous black one.)

Each watch tells time using a scrolling red LED dot-matrix display which floats behind a curvy, shiny electroplated exterior. In addition to showing the time and date, you can program the display to display a custom message of up to 20 characters.

They’re available in two styles, one with a mirrored patent band [Model DZ7091], and the other with black leather strap [Model DZ7092]. You can find them both over on the Diesel Time Frames store for $170 USD each.

The Diesel DZ7086 mens’ watch features a bright dual-color screen with both blue and green OLED phosphors. In addition to displaying the time in traditional numeric formats, it can display a text version (i.e. “Eleven Twenty Seven”), along with four different on-screen animations when you press the appropriate button.

The modern digital watch comes housed in a black plastic case with stainless steel lugs at each side. The black wristband is nicely crafted from leather, and in case you plan on banging your new watch around a bit, the display is protected by a durable, scratch-resistant mineral crystal face.

List price for the DZ7086 on the Diesel website is $150 USD, but you might be able to find a better deal with a little digging over on Amazon.

Like old school LED watches, the time and date are concealed behind a mirrored crystal until you press a button on the side of the watch.

While I’m not sure how accurate this promotional photo is, it looks like the display is more of a cool blue-green color than the grey shown in the first images.

The stainless model (DZ7080) lists for $215. There’s also a leather version (DZ7079) for around $200.
