Star Wars Figures Made from Doll Parts: More Freaky Than Mos Eisley Cantina

These freaky looking Star Wars toys mixed with doll parts aren’t exactly my thing, but I have to give them credit for their creepiness. There’s nothing more disturbing than dolls and when you play Doctor Frankenstein by mixing them with other parts.

These come from GeekyVixen on Etsy, who makes a bunch of doll mash-ups. These Star Wars versions are the weirdest. You want a AT-ST with a giant baby head? Check. A TIE Fighter with a baby head? Check. How about R2-D2 with baby feet and a baby head. You got it.

Batman Stacking Dolls: Batryoshka?

I’ve seen all sorts of objects done up as those Russian nesting dolls, but these have to be my new favorites. How can you not love these Matryoshka dolls made up to look like Batman?

They were made by Katya Malakhova, who really does live in St. Petersburg, Russia – so she has every right to call them Russian stacking dolls. While they’re a one-off she made for herself, I can only hope she’ll see how popular they are and set up shop on Etsy or somewhere.

What I love most about these (besides the pointy bat ears on the cowl) is that they remind me of another Christopher Nolan flick, Inception. But instead of a dream within a dream within a dream, you get a bat inside a bat inside a bat… the hero Gotham deserves… we need to go deeper.

Crochet connoisseur Rin aka deadcraft aka oddgumi makes wonderful dolls of personalities both fictional and real, as long as they’re awesome. I am confident that a Barney Stinson doll is in the works. Let’s look at some her creations:

Now that’s something you don’t see everyday. Jamie looks kinda creepy though. Adam’s spot on, but I still like Lolcat Adam better. You can get the myth busting dolls for $46 (USD) at Rin’s Etsy shop.

Forget what I said about Jamie. That is creepy. Yet still awesome. Should you want to scare the hell out of anyone, you can buy the Heath Ledger Joker doll for $24, also at Rin’s Etsy shop.

“War has changed. War has become routine. And for some reason I know nothing about what’s going on and always have to be informed by Otacon and everyone else around me.” So says Old Snake, who for some reason seems to be carrying sausages around his neck. Unfortunately, the Snake doll is not currently on Rin’s Etsy shop, but I’m pretty sure she won’t turn you down if you ask her to make you one.
