Apparently, not so bad. But you might have to try it out yourself by grabbing a bottle of of Meteorito. The wine was basically a fusion of interests for Ian Hutcheon, who runs a vineyard and this astronomy center in Chile called the Centro Astronomica Tagua Tagua.

What he did was ferment the red wine by putting the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes with the three-inch meteorite inside the wooden barrel. The wine is then bottled twenty-five days later.

So how does Meteorito taste compared to the non-meteorite version of the wine? According to Hutcheon, it is “livelier.” But hey, maybe that’s what something from space can do either to you (or to the wine.)

Each bottle of Meteorito costs just £7 (~$11 USD), and over 10,000 have so far been fermented.

However, those who aren’t exceptionally skilled in concocting their own visually-appealing cocktails might want to look towards these Sidekick Shot Glasses for a little bit of extra help. They are simple to make and look like great drinks for your geeky get-togethers. For the blue version, get a small glass and pour in 10ml of Blue Curacao, 10ml of vodka and top it off with some lemonade (courtesy of Cave Johnson.)

For the orange version use 10ml of Cointreau, 10ml of rum and Orangina. Put some colored sugar on the rims to finish off the look. Sugar in a sandwich bag with some  food coloring is all you need.

Following the experiment, there will be drinks.

Yep, what you’re looking at here is the most awesome bar for serving up your finest booze – all in the shape of an AT-AT. Luckily, it has yet to be brought down by a snow speeder’s tow cables, as that would be a horrible tragedy. The cabinet appears to be handcrafted from wood and brass, and stands at least 4 or 5 feet tall – unless those guys in the photo are Ewoks disguised as humans.

I know not from whence this tasty morsel of awesome comes, other than the fact that these photos were posted up on imgur about a week ago. Another product that’s up for a possible quick “cease-and-desist” is Facedrink. And it’s pretty obvious which company’s going to be wanting to pull this drink off of Amazon.

Facedrink is dubbed as “the social drink,” obviously a play on Facebook, “the social network.” But really, Facedrink is just an energy drink and I doubt there’s anything truly special about it, except for its packaging. As a matter of fact, one of the customer reviews say it tastes “god awful.”

The company’s website claims that it’s the drink that “gives you social energy – but really, what exactly is social energy?

Even Facedrink’s website kind of looks like Facebook. I wonder how long it will be before Zuckerberg and his team take notice of this, but I don’t think it will take long.

Nothing tastes more refreshing than a cold beverage after a long day of getting beaten over the head at work, or a hot cup of hot chocolate after being beaten over the head outside in the snow. A plug at the ends of each tray ensure that water doesn’t get into the middle of the straw molds, so you can drink through them. The straws this thing produces look a little chunky to me, but that’s okay – just more ice surface area to keep your drink chilled.

Neutral liquids are attached at the top,(alcohol, milk or water) while tubes at the back are attached to different colored liquids, whether it is “G”- grape, “O” orange, “J” – Jagermeister, etc.

As the liquid at the top flows, you type in the letters that make the colored liquids flow along with it. It’s up to you as to which keys go with what liquid, but the liquid-filled 7-segment display always shows the letter you’re typing.

The tray is made from silicone, not those impossible to crack hard plastic sort, and has six smaller carbonite cubes and one large cube. It’s hard to tell what size the cubes are, but I bet the larger one is more for a punchbowl. I think I would put some grape juice in there and make them look black like the film’s carbonite.

Anouk Wipprecht’s DareDroid dress will dispense drinks depending on how charming you are. If you aren’t particularly charming to the host, you get a nasty glass of lukewarm milk. If you are charming, you get an alcoholic beverage – a White Russian. That part in the cleavage area is where the drinks are dispensed from.

Apparently walking up to the dress wearer triggers the sensors to produce milk. If you will play truth or dare with the wearer, your charm will get another drink. Yes, it’s as weird as it sounds. Check out the video and see the dress in action.

Apparently, the beverage is a specially packaged bottle of Awamori, a distilled alcoholic rice drink served in Okinawa. This particular batch is flavored with Shikuwasa – a sour lime-like citrus fruit also found in the area. From the sounds of that, this is going to be one intense, pucker-inducing drink – appropriate after a long day of zombie killing and gangland hits. Or maybe just for making Molotov cocktails.

If any of you guys live in Japan, pick up a bottle and let us know how it tastes. Given the questionable flavor track record for video-game themed beverages, I’m not holding out high hopes.

These Rubik’s Coasters look like slices of a real cube, but are designed to keep that drinksweat (if that’s a word) off of your tabletop. Of course if you stack these out of order, they’ll form what would probably be the world’s easiest puzzle to solve.

To me, this looks way easier than that time I tried to slice a Rubik’s Cube with a table saw, so I think it’s worth the £12.99 (~$21 USD) for a set of six over at SpinningHat.

This espresso gun concept was created by designers Stefan Riegebauer, Christina Carli, Florian Kainz and Niko Schwarz. The design is a play on the fact that quantities of espresso are referred to as shots. Water goes into the gun’s handle and prepared in one of the pistol’s chambers. Once the shot is ready to go, you can press a trigger to release it. The beans would be ground in some kind of a dock, but I think that you could probably use your own coffee bean grinder for this since the heating element and water reservoir would be built into the gun itself.

Part of the idea behind this design is to eliminate the waste often associated with those single-shot espresso machines that have their own coffee capsules.

For now, I think I still prefer my vacuum coffee maker to this gun concept.
