“He who does not look back will never reach his destination.” So goes an old saying we have here. It doesn’t make sense (or at least my translation doesn’t), nevertheless it is appropriate for today’s gaming news: EA has made the classic Command & Conquer Tiberian Saga available for free download.

Remember that possible football controller? The kind-of-silly one? Yeah, well, there’s a new rumor all about the possible ball add-on, but this time we’re throwing Electronic Arts into the mix. Word is that they may have an all new fitness trainer in the works… but instead of aerobics and all, this one? Will use…

You’re probably aware that the sequel to Bioware’s blockbuster action RPG Mass Effect is already in the works, but did you also know that a prequel will also be released? And that it’s on the iPhone? Well now you do.
The new game was leaked by a Joystiq reader, and according to the info…

It sounded like something from a Penny Arcade panel, but in reality, it’s the newest Rock Band game: LEGO Rock Band, complete with minifig musicians with blocky little instruments. The toyed-up version is due this holiday season, not long after The Beatles: Rock Band.
At this point, I would typically make fun of the…

It’s been almost a decade since American McGee’s twisted take on a Wonderland fueled by insanity, American McGee’s Alice, but Electronic Arts is teaming up with McGee’s Spicy Horse to produce a sequel to the gothic game. Why now, you ask? Why not, says I, for it’s never a bad time to give scowls…

The ol’ “hero/heroine is about to die, so must seize life” theme is an oft-used one in all forms of literature, and Electronic Arts’ Hachi Koi is adding its own spin to the old saw, except in this Nintendo DS game, instead of seizing life, you’re tasked with seizing girl flesh. Literally.
In Hachi…

Of all the things in the world that could possibly be used as inspiration for any sort of video game, the last thing you might expect Electronic Arts to fall back on is Dante Alighieri’s Divine Comedy. And yet that’s exactly what the company unveiled at Monday’s Video Game Awards.
If your response is…

It looks like the new hit 3-D action platform video game Mirror’s Edge has just gotten a makeover as a 2-D Flash mini-game you can play right in you web browser.
The guys over at Borne Games have created this flattened version of the game (in partnership with EA), and it’s kind of reminiscent…

I’m as addicted to Rock Band as the next gaming geek, but I still wish the strum bar on the game’s Fender Stratocaster felt more like a real guitar string. Now you get your hands on a mod kit which will let you swap out the plastic strum bar with an actual metal guitar…

I don’t know what it is about the PlayStation 3, but there are very few people out there who’ve dared to attempt any sort of casemodding for the shiny black console. So I was tickled when I came across this PS3 mod which cleverly integrates the curvaceous lines of Sony’s latest gaming system.
Inspired…

This has got to be one of the best video game promotional items that I’ve ever come across. It’s so simple, yet brilliant. It’s an actual custom-cast brick that was used to promote the classic MAXIS/EA city-building game SimCity 2000.
The rare item is currently available for bid over on eBay, but is located…
