But they went one step further than just designing some cans, they came up with four different flavors – lemon, blue raspberry, fruit punch and green apple – to go with the four colors of Chaos Emeralds. The gold ring around the top of the cans is a nice touch, too.

They even went so far to create a nice box for the set of four cans, along with one of those Sonic 1up icons on one side and a 10-ring prize on the other. Unfortunately, this isn’t for a real product. The packaging was designed for a photo shoot to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sonic, back in 2011.

Even Doctor Robotnik would approve of these; though they certainly won’t help him with his figure. Now all they need to do is get someone to actually make these energy drinks, and we’ll be all set. Maybe they can convince Sonic Drive-In restaurants to bring them to market. I always thought they needed to do some sort of tie-in.

Another product that’s up for a possible quick “cease-and-desist” is Facedrink. And it’s pretty obvious which company’s going to be wanting to pull this drink off of Amazon.

Facedrink is dubbed as “the social drink,” obviously a play on Facebook, “the social network.” But really, Facedrink is just an energy drink and I doubt there’s anything truly special about it, except for its packaging. As a matter of fact, one of the customer reviews say it tastes “god awful.”

The company’s website claims that it’s the drink that “gives you social energy – but really, what exactly is social energy?

Even Facedrink’s website kind of looks like Facebook. I wonder how long it will be before Zuckerberg and his team take notice of this, but I don’t think it will take long.

The Slurm Energy Drink was first featured in the 1999 Futurama episode Fry and the Slurm Factory. It was the 13th episode of the first season, and if you don’t remember what Slurm actually is, check out this link for further info. Needless to say that Slurm’s only redeeming quality was that it was highly addictive.

BLOOD Energy Potion looks just like an IV transfusion bag, but is actually a drinkable concoction loaded with sweet fruit punch flavored energy drink. I love this part of the product description: “Not only does Blood Energy Potion have a similar nutritional makeup to real blood, but it has the same color, look, and consistency of blood. Get real blood nutrients without that real blood taste!” My only question is why it can’t taste like real blood? C’mon.

Unfortunately, if you’re hoping to serve some of this at your Halloween party, you’ll have to wait until next year since this stuff isn’t available until January.
