<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="size-full wp-image-15712 aligncenter" title="bottle_cap_mario" src="http://technabob.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/bottle_cap_mario.jpg" alt="bottle cap mario" width="520" height="900" /></p>
<p>Etsy artist <a href="http://bottlecapart.etsy.com ">BottleCapArt</a> turns discarded beer bottle caps into pixel art. Each creation is handmade from bottlecaps, paint, pine, and tons of hot glue. My fingers hurt just thinking about the burns the artist must have endured pressing metal into scalding hot glue over and over again. Yeouch!</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><img class="size-full wp-image-15713 aligncenter" title="bottle_cap_blue_ghost" src="http://technabob.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/bottle_cap_blue_ghost.jpg" alt="bottle cap blue ghost" width="520" height="484" /></p>
<p>Looks like somebody likes Bud Light and Michelob a whole lot. If you&#8217;d like to hang these up on your wall, bottle cap <a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23478250">Mario</a> is available for $100 (USD), while the <a href="http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=23432043">blue ghost</a> is $40 bucks over on Etsy. Sure, you may say that&#8217;s alot of money for a bunch of bottle caps, but think about how many beers you&#8217;d have to down &#8211; and then all the painful labor to hot glue them to the boards, and you&#8217;ll appreciate all the hard work that must have gone into these quirky creations.</p>
