TARDIS Cookies Need Lots of Blue Frosting

Check out these awesome TARDIS gingerbread cookies. They are geekier than you might think. First, they are shaped like the Doctor’s trusty transportation vehicle. Second, they were created with a cookie cutter that was made using a 3D printer. That’s double nerd points my friend.

But where is the absolutely necessary blue frosting? Oh well, that’s probably just too much work, since you’ll want to eat them right away. The details are really nice, even if some detail is lost as it bakes. Too bad the oven doesn’t make the TARDIS sound when they are ready to come out.

Serenity Now, in Gingerbread Form

I promise, this is the last gingerbread thing I talk about this holiday season, but c’mon this one is Serenity from Firefly, so I couldn’t ignore it. That is one good looking ship no matter what it’s made out of.

I love how all of the icing is dripping down too. This tasty vessel was made by Kristoffer Gressli and his brother. Like most gingerbread creations, this one also has some other candies on it as well.

It’s all so pretty, I wouldn’t know where to take a bite from first. Maybe the back section and work my way up. If there is anyone manning that little ship, I suggest you get out. Unless it is a gummy-crew, and if that’s the case, just man your stations and prepare for my attack.

Diablo III Gingerbread Skull Has Delicious and Demonic Candy Soulstone

The latest geek gingerbread treat is an evil one. I present to you the Diablo III Gingerbread Skull, complete with Candy Soulstone. It’s yummy and evil. Now we are officially ready for the game, which is rumored to be released on January 24, 2012.

Too bad you can’t munch on this skull while playing the game. It’ll probably be pretty nasty by the time the game comes out in a month. That’s okay. This guy is so evil it just wants to upset your stomach anyhow. In fact, a demon would probably burst from your chest after you swallow it. Yeah, so maybe it isn’t a great idea to eat this thing.

But it is still an awesome homage to the dark lord of the Diablo games. Is it still considered a gingerbread house if it’s a skull? I guess that doesn’t matter. This gingerbread skull will eat other gingerbread houses for breakfast, belch and grow larger, until it encompasses everything gingerbread in this world.

Skyrim Breezehome Gingerbread House: +40 Candy-Mage Skills

It’s that time of year again. Geeks are making gingerbread treats that look like other cool things. In this case it’s a gingerbread Breezehome from Skyrim made by a super cute girl.

The girl in question is Youtuber Frosty Starcraft, and though I haven’t gotten around to playing the game yet myself, from what I know, it looks like she did a pretty awesome job of replicating a little Breezehome located in the city of Whiterun.

It has Alduin the dragon on the roof, what looks like Frosted Mini-Wheat shingles and candy for brickwork, and there’s even a dead giant spider right next to the house. I think she did an awesome job. I’m sure it was as fun to make as it will be to eat.

Gingerbread TARDIS: I Hope Your Stomach is Bigger on the Inside

This gingerbread TARDIS looks yummy. But is a gingerbread TARDIS better than a ginger companion? Discuss.

This awesome Doctor Who treat is not new, it was made (and presumably eaten) in 2006, but since it is the proper time of year and since it looks delicious, I just had to share it. It won’t traverse time and space, but it will fill your tummy with all kinds of timey-wimey goodness.

Is a gingerbread TARDIS better than having a ginger companion like Amy Pond? Well, this ginger won’t talk back and be a smartass and it won’t get itself into trouble so that you have to save the day. But on the flip side, Amy Pond has much better legs than this ginger treat. Then again, Amy can’t fill your belly. Well, not unless the TARDIS crashes somewhere and you go all Donner Party on her. That would be horrible though. I’m still undecided which would be better.

Gingerbread Ewok Village: Yum Yum Jub Jub

Yum. Gingerbread. But eww Ewoks, the Return of the Jedi equivalent of Jar Jar Binks. Well, maybe they aren’t that bad. Screw it, I would still eat this whole damn village. Maybe by doing so, I can prevent Endor from ever existing.

It was created by Canadian baker The Infinite Yums for a charity auction. It even has a Death Star with green LED lighting that’s made of Rice Krispies. It would be a perfect dessert for after I ate every last Ewok. Go ahead, poke your spears and fire your catapults at me, you little freaks.

This huge confectionery masterpiece is nicely detailed and also features C-3PO, R2, Yoda, Chewbacca and a pile of Stormtrooper heads. Great work. If you must allow Ewoks to exist, they might as well be edible.

Gingerbread AT-AT: Hothy Holidays

The Star Wars movies would have been a whole different deal if all they had was a Gingerbread budget. Here is a glimpse of what it might have looked like. Can you imagine tasty gingerbread AT-ATs walking across a field of sugar as a young Luke Skyginger takes it down? Me either, but this AT-AT sure looks tasty.

This huge and delicious-looking imperial walker gingerbread treat was made by BlackMarket Bakery in Irvine, CA. It was created and baked by Rachel Klemek, the owner, who appears to be a sci-fi geek herself. The AT-AT is all gingerbread and icing, with licorice weapons.

It must be Christmas time on Hoth as well judging by all of the candy canes. This amazing geek delicacy is currently on display at the Discovery Science Center if you want a closer look. No licking!

The GingerDead Men Cookie Cutters turn your happy cookies into walking skeleton creatures of evil. One side of the product cuts the shape of the walking dead, and the other imprints the skeleton design onto its body. They make great stocking stuffers for geeks of all kinds, and are awesome for people who love to eat. A safe bet is that most people you know enjoy eating, so, you can’t really go wrong, unless they happen to be deathly afraid of skeletons. Or gingerbread men. *Hears footsteps* DON’T EAT ME! *Gets hit by a gumdrop.*

The GingerDead Men cookie cutters are great, but your geeky friends might prefer to be given the Pac-Man cookie cutters or the Ninjabread cookie cutters if they’re more into Ka-rah-tay. *Karate chops a fern* That shrubbery will think twice the next time it decides to look at me funny. *Fern stands up and retaliates*

So, after being reduced to nothing by an angry fern, I recommend that you keep the violence in your cookies and the cookies in your fern, since it will be angry if you don’t appease it with food. Also, do you have any idea how long your plants have been filling their bladders? Ooey-Gooey Left 4 Dead 2 Gingerbread Zombies

I can’t think of much that’s less appetizing than zombies, but maybe that’s just me. Maybe painting gingerbread men as comic versions of the baddies from Left 4 Dead 2 can impart a sense of empowerment, a reversal, a sort of “in Russia, you eat zombies” kind of deal.

Or maybe sometimes a hilarious cookie is just a cookie.

Whatever the motive behind these amazing little gingerbread dudes, they are just about perfect, from the daft and simple smiles to the zombie currently in the process of losing his head, these capture a gleeful, happy version of the zombie apocalypse game. You know, something for the holidays, because there’s nothing like zombies for the holidays.

I do believe the wrong zombies are spitting, however. But once eaten, they all look the same.

Twisted Crafter Creates Horrible Gingerbread Creatures

Crafter/felt baker/goth pastry master ckrolczyk probably got tired of seeing lookalike gingerbread men and set out to redeem the great Gingerbread name with these wacky, felt gingerbread…beings. I would expect no less from someone with a username like ckrolczyk. First up, Gingerbread Cthulhu:

Ckrolczyk may have pwned a lot of bakers & crafters with these designs, but you’ll never see me put anything resembling Cthulhu anywhere near my mouth. There is no way in hell. Unless it’s Gummi Cthulhu.
