This faux solar calculator case is handmade by CB Sew, and looks exactly like the calculator that I used to have before I gave up on these things and started using computers – although mine didn’t even do square roots or percent calculations. This particular calculator/case will hold most modern gadgets including iPhones, iPod Classics, iPod Touches, the Zune HD and even the Palm Pre, among others. About the only thing it won’t do is spell out dirty words on its LCD screen when you turn it upside-down.

Handmade by Catsicle, this silly-looking felt and fleece iPhone is made just for kitty. It’s loaded up with “64 gigs of organic catnip,” and even has a pair of dangly headphones for your cat to get tangled up in.

Available over at Etsy for $17.50 (USD), the catPhone is a bargain compared to letting your cat knock your actual iPhone 3GS onto the kitchen floor. Of course, knowing how absolutely stoned my cat gets on catnip, he’d probably rack up $500 in roaming charges on my AT&T bill.

I love how the artist even made a little pair of headphones and some cassettes to go with the portable tape player.
