LCD television maker HANNSpree is best known for their fun and funky line of TVs for kids rooms. Now, they’re getting a bit more serious by entering the HDTV market.

The $1150 HANNSvibewhite is a 32-inch LCD television with a chunky, contemporary design, highlighted by white and black accents. The unique cabinet design lets you easily remove the stereo speakers if you have an external audio system. Native resolution is SXGA (1366×768) and the set supports 1080i/720p/480p/480i source signals (sorry, no 1080p). It also has an ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner on board so you can receive over-the-air high definition broadcasts without additional hardware.

Are your kids not sedentary enough? This LCD television from Hannspree lets your little ones enjoy all their favorite product-placement-enhanced TV programming, all the while reminding them of what they’ll probably be eating for dinner tonight, junk food.

This insanely surreal television looks like a giant pack of French fries, and is accompanied by a remote control that looks like a packet of high-fructose corn sweetened tomato ketchup.

While it might look cute on the surface, for some reason I think this MIGHT be sending the wrong message to kids. Now I must get back to my Quarter Pounder and the latest episode of American Idol...
