The case is now available for one of the best and most popular Android smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy SII.

The case works exactly the same as the iPhone 4/4S version and has the same nine effects and filters. It just looks slightly different, with the wheel located more to the middle of the case because of the difference in the placement of the rear camera between the two phones. Note that the sample shots below are taken with an iPhone. Tsk, tsk. Lazy Holga.

The Holga iPhone 4 Lens Filter Kit is the perfect way to turn your iPhone photography on its head, without having to rely on digital filter effects. Plus, it’s cheap enough that you won’t balk as offering it to someone on a gift exchange or as a stocking stuffer.

The case installs easily onto your iPhone 4 or 4S. Once its fitted, you have access to 9 different and crazy effects, without the need to access any specialized software or apps. And since these are actual optical filters, they can be used in concert with any picture-taking app.

The filters are on a wheel designed to look like an old school rotary phone dial, with settings which produce colored vignettes, multiple images, macro shots or other photo distortion effects.

The Holga lens filter case comes available in a variety of colors and sells for $24.99 (USD) directly from Holga.

This weird camera from Japan can meow. Presumably, the camera makes cat sounds to draw the attention of your elusive feline friends when you want to snap their picture.

The whole idea strikes me as pretty odd though. I think if my cat heard the disembodied, digitized meows, then saw the flash go off, he’d take off like a shot. I actually think opening the metal can that it comes packed in is more likely to attract cats, since they’ll think you’re fixing their bowl of 9-Lives. Of course when kitty realizes that there are no tasty morsels, just a stupid meowing camera, Mr. Whiskers will probably scratch your eyeballs out, thus making it impossible for you to take that picture you bought the thing for in the first place.

So if you’re still interested after all that, you can find these over on Korea’s 10×10 shop. With a little digging, you can also find a handful of ‘em over on eBay.
