Hori Fight Stick for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 Now Available in the US

Do you like Marvel? Capcom? Like to see those characters fight each other? Of course you do, and now US gamers can deliver the best possible smackdown via Hori’s Fight Stick for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, as the game controller is now available in the US market.

Europeans have had this arcade stick for a little while, and now it’s our turn here in the States. As you can see it features several characters from the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 game on the base of the controller itself. Each one has an arcade-quality joystick, eight gaming buttons, and a turbo function. The Xbox 360 version also has a connector for newer headsets.

The Hori Fight Stick for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $149.99(USD). You can get one from Hori’s US website. It’s a bit late for Christmas, but hell, you deserve one last gift.

Hori Steering Wheel for Mario Kart 3DS: 3D-Wheel-Drive

Playing a game like Mario Kart on the 3DS might not sound ideal to some people because of the size of the screen and the lack of a steering wheel, but Hori has the latter covered. Behold their steering wheel peripheral designed specifically for Mario Kart on the 3DS.

It is officially licensed by Nintendo and has large L and R buttons for your gaming pleasure. Other features include… Uh, sadly that’s about it. You won’t be able to use it to control your kart in the game – although the 3DS’ motion sensors might do the trick. Looks like this is meant to be mostly decorative and make you feel like you are more in the game.

This somewhat useless steering wheel is Japan only right now and will be available on December 1st for about $17 (USD). No word on whether it will come to the States or not.

Hori Pikachu Charger Holds on to Your Nintendo Dsi

If you need a place to juice up your Nintendo DSi or DSi LL (XL here in the states), you could plug in into that boring old AC adapter that came with your system – or you could do this…

The guys at Hori Japan have come out with this ridiculously gleeful Pikachu charging stand (translated) for Nintendo’s latest handheld systems. Pikachu is accompanied by a red and white Poké Ball, which actually serves as the stand for your handheld. It also looks like Pika might be enjoying your NDSi just a little too much if you know what I’m saying.

Keep in mind that the stand doesn’t come with the AC adapter, and you’ll need to buy that separately. You’ll also need to head to Japan if you want one for now, since there’s no current plan to ship these to the rest of the world.

Hori Real Arcade Pro Ex: Serious Control for Xbox 360

The Xbox 360′s standard controller has an excellent reputation, but sometimes you just want the heft and precision of a real arcade joystick. So if you’re looking for a really substantial controller for your 360, Japan’s Hori is about to bring the answer to your prayers.

The new Hori Real Arcade Pro EX is one serious stick, complete with eight individual oversize action buttons and a ball-grip joystick that’s as good as anything you’d find in an arcade. (As a matter of fact, they’re using the same Sanwa sticks that are used in arcade machines). The button configuration should be great for playing classic games on Xbox Live Arcade, but are optimized for duking it out in fighters like VF5 and the impending Soul Calibur IV. And if you’re into online play, there’s even a jack for an Xbox Live headset.

These bad boys retail for ¥12,000 (appx. $112 US) in Japan, but by the time you pay for shipping and handling to the U.S., figure you’ll be spending around twice that. NCSX has already sold out of pre-orders, but Play-Asia expects to start selling these in the next few days.

Arcade Joystick Coming for Nintendo Wii

Thanks to this new arcade controller for the Wii, fans of classic arcade games will be able to play them the way they were meant to be played.

Hori’s new Arcade Fighting Stick for the Nintendo Wii looks pretty nice, with a large 8-way digital stick and 8 gaming buttons. While it’s meant for fighting games, it also looks like it could be perfect for playing many of the systems Virtual Console classics.

The controller is expected to be released this August, an is available for pre-order for $52.90 from Play-Asia.

Zero Tech 3 Racing Controller Coming for PS3

Japanese game accessory maker Hori has revealed their upcoming racing controller for the PlayStation 3.

The Zero Tech 3 controller features a trigger-grip design with a sideways mounted analog steering control. The unique design allows players to use their left hand to control the accelerator and brake triggers, while the right hand controls steering. There’s even a little thumb shifter for changing gears on the fly.

The only downside for racing fans is that the controller isn’t wireless. Hori plans on releasing the Zero Tech 3 this July for ¥4,980 (appx. $42 USD.)
