I think we can all agree that Hello Kitty is pretty cute. Hello Kitty floating on a fluffy confection of fake cream and glittery jewels… well, that’s something else altogether. Stunning, certainly. And the gleam might just put your eye out. Sometimes, cute can be risky.

At first glance, this seems to be from the uncomfortable-controls school of gaming accessories, but it looks like all the trim and flounce is limited to the top of the case, which means that for most games, only people unfortunate enough to be standing in front of you are at risk from gem-induced blindness. Playing a few DS games might get uncomfortable, though; anytime you’ve got to turn that bad boy sideways, your fingers are going to hate you.

But hey! The overall effect looks good; everything is carefully placed and affixed, and at first glance, this looks like a retail case–but it was all hand-decorated.

With the holidays bearing down upon us, it’s only a matter of time before your great aunt Mildred shows up wearing one of her infamous sequined reindeer sweaters. Why should she have all the fun dressing up for the holidays? Now your iPhone can join in the festivities too.

These shiny new Noel cases from More give your iPhone (3G only) the shiny, metallic look of Christmas ornaments. Available in blue and ruby jeweltones as well as gold and shiny aluminum, these form-fitting cases are sure to draw attention the next time you go to answer your phone.

The unibody shell design has precise cutouts that allow you to use all controls and inputs without removing the case. And so the face of your iPhone doesn’t feel left out, each case comes with a bonus mirrored screen protector which makes the front of your iPhone just as shiny as the back.

Keep in mind that these cases are super smooth, so if you’re looking for an extra grip on your iPhone, this isn’t the case for you. They’re available now from More Thing for $29.90 USD each.

Masters of all things bejeweled, Crystal Icing will embellish your DS Lite with the likeness of Mario and his flying Koopa nemesis for $350. If that’s not sparkly enough for you, how about a custom piece like this Wii console covered with thousands of Swarovski crystals?

The Legend of Zelda-themed crystal Wii probably cost more than a few months’ mortgage payments. It’s been carefully detailed with over 7500 24-Karat gold-dipped crystals. Last time I counted, that’s just a few less than I have on my royal pimp cup.
