While I’m probably not speaking for the majority of you out there, I bring my iPad everywhere I go. I use it for taking notes in meetings, sending e-mails, watching movies, and even the occasional game of Fruit Ninja HD. But I have to say that one thing I’ve not done with my iPad yet is use it to give a presentation. This nifty contraption makes giving speeches and presentations with your iPad a breeze.

Created by Little Mountain Productions, the iPodium series is designed for holding your iPad (or other tablet device) in the perfect position for reading (with no hands) or interacting with the screen (with a single free hand).

Each iPodium is custom-made from hard woods and aircraft-grade aluminum, and they really have a nice look that’s at once modern and classic. In addition to working for presentations, the iPodium is a great idea for everything from museum kiosks to event registrations to game stations. It’s not clear to me if there’s any way to lock the iPad in place for use in public locations, though, so you’ll want to check on that before leaving your precious iTablet sitting out for just anyone to take.

For more info on the iPodium, contact the guys at Little Mountain here.

Apparently, these kiosks are really running on Dell machines and Samsung displays. I guess that’s cheaper than using Apple gear, but something about it just doesn’t feel right to me.

The kiosks feature a giant interactive version of the iPhone which shows off the user interface magnified for all to see. It’s not clear to me if the display will feature a multi-touch display like the actual iPhone has, but it’s still pretty cool.

[UPDATE: MacRumors has posted additional pictures of a large iPhone window display that is different from these in-store kiosks, looking like an actual giant iPhone. Sweet!]

The box has a custom version of the NES with twelve cartridge slots, five controller ports, and even the ability to limit play times so kids wouldn’t hog the machine. It can hook up to any monitor using the included RCA A/V jacks, but unfortunately doesn’t come with the cool retro monitor that’s featured in the picture. The current bid on the auction is just over 500 bucks, but it’s likely to go up since it’s not going to end until Friday, 4/13.

If you don’t absolutely have to play on authentic hardware, you can play some online emulated NES games over at Nintendo8 right now (Java required.)
