I recently came across watchmaker Vestal, who makes original designer watches with a decidedly modern spin. The artists of Vestal use music as their inspiration for their designs, and their music video filled website reinforces this sentiment.

These LCD digital timepieces from California’s Ammon Watches really stand out from the crowd.
Ammon’s Proof series of digital watches features a custom dot matrix LCD panel, contained beneath a flat mineral crystal lens. Each watch is housed in a stainless steel body, and mounted to a thick leather strap one of several different neutral colors…

I can’t figure out why you’d want to do this, but there must be somebody out there who wants a tiny screen strapped onto the top of their Playstation 3.
Nevover Electronics’ flip screen for the PS3 is designed to mount securely on the top of the console, and provides a 7-inch TFT LCD panel for viewing games and videos…

Philips Ambilight technology has been around for a few years now, providing flat-panel televisions with color-enhanced ambient backlighting. While placing lights behind of television screens has long been known to improve perceived contrast ratios and decrease eyestrain, Ambilight’s color-cycling was always a bit more superflous in my opinion…

At the recent E3 show, Saitek showed off this cool set of external desktop gauges that can be used alongside flight simulators and other games.
Adding a new dimension of immersion to sim games, each individual color LCD screen can display live information fed to it by special game drivers…
