Evouni’s Leather Arc Cover is quite simple and elegant in its design, made from Italian calfskin leather that will get even more supple with use. While it’s made for iPhones, it looks like it might accommodate phones from other manufacturers, since it’s not really designed to be a snug fitting case.

You can get it on Amazon for $69.99(USD) in either black or claret (though I’m unsure what color that is in the picture below.) They also make a version for the iPad 2 for $120. Evouni have a variety of other cases listed over at their online store as well.

Most people dream of being royalty because of the perceived prestige and fame that came with. Not to mention, the wealth. But we all can’t be kings or queens, nor can we be princes or princesses if we weren’t born with the blue blood.

But you can be the king (or queen) of your very own throne, albeit the octopus kind.

Maximo Riera’s handmade leather Octopus Chair is sort of creepy, but it does have a certain look and feel to it that reminds me of thrones – or a chair for an evil supervillain.

But keep in mind though: having this piece of furniture won’t bring you any prestige, though you might gain some fame as being the <del>loony</del> person who bought a chair with an upholstered octopus for about $53,550 (USD).

And if you can afford such a thing, then I doubt you’re after the “riches” part of being royal.

I’ve never thought about mixing my shaving cream with my gadgets, but that didn’t stop Killspencer from thinking of a way of doing this, thanks to their new Dopp Folio, which does double duty as a carrier for your grooming stuff or your travel gadgets.

The sides on the bag can attached, to make a more box-like shape for your toiletries. Instead, if you want to use it as a gadget folio, just undo the sides, and it has enough space for your iPad or 11-inch MacBook Air. You might be able to fit a few more items in there along with it. Just don’t try and actually put your laptop and your hair gel in there at the same time – I can’t imagine that’d be a good idea.

The folio looks pretty handsome and comes in four different varieties. The canvas versions will cost you $149 while the leather ones will set you back $189.

Carrying around stands for all of your devices can be a pain, which is why I like Jesse Herbert’s Smartphone Bracelet. It doesn’t take up much space, and when it’s not in use by your smartphone, you can wear it as a bracelet.

It will work with a bunch of different recent smartphones, from iPhones to Samsungs, letting you do your FaceTime and Skype chats hands-free. The bracelet adjustable to fit most shapes and sizes (of both people and phones), so it’s basically one-size-fits-all.

It will cost you $24 CAD (~$24 USD) to get this bracelet, and Jesse’s got some black ones available as well. It’s definitely a handy stand that looks good even if you just wear it as a bracelet.

I always liked the BookBook MacBook case, but the new iPhone case looks really nice as well. The neat thing about it is that it can double as a wallet (if you don’t need to carry around too much stuff). It’s hard to find anything that beats the aged book look.

Twelvesouth, the company that pegs itself not only Apple-friendly, but Apple only, makes this and I have to say that it looks pretty swanky. I like how it can carry around a 3 or 4 credit cards too, meaning that you’ll probably end up leaving your wallet at home. And if you have any concerns, the Twelvesouth guys assure us that they’ve performed rigorous testing, and putting your iPhone alongside your credit cards is perfectly safe, and will not erase them.

The BookBook case is available exclusively for the iPhone 4, and is made from durable, distressed and stitched leather. It should be noted that there’s no opening for the camera lens though, and you’ll have to slide your iPhone up an inch or so when you want to snap a picture.

The BookBook will cost you $59.99 (USD) which seems a bit much for an iPhone case. You can get it over at Twelvesouth website, along with a bunch of other stuff that looks pretty cool.

Looking for an awesome outfit for cosplay, but don’t have the time (or artistic talents) to create something from scratch? Well look no further than the pages of Etsy for this most-excellent BioShock 2 Big Sister costume that’s recently turned up.

This over-the-top, under-the-water Big Sister getup was made by Looptid Leather and Moar. The body of the outfit is made from leather and metal buckles, and assembled with rivets and stitching. The helmet was built from fiberglass, Kevlar, and metal and has a Plexiglas front that you can see out of (if you don’t mind the tinge of glowing red LED lighting.) Of course, it’s outfitted with all sorts of nasty weaponry, including a giant needle-spike (complete with ADAM container) and harpoon wrist attachment. You are so not getting past the TSA screeners with this thing on.

This one-of-a-kind custom costume has actually been featured in magazines like PlayStation Europe and even mentioned by the guys on 2K Games’ website. Now it can be yours for the low, low price of just $600 (USD). The guy who made it offers up too much personal information – that he’s 5’11″ tall, with a 32″ waist and 32″ inseam, but that’s mainly so you can figure out if it’ll fit you before you plunk down your hard-earned cash. He does say that it’s designed to adjust to different body sizes though.

If you’re ready to head down to Rapture and scare the crap out of your friends, head on over to Etsy and grab it now.

Geeky watches are a staple around here. We like them even if we don’t wear them since we all have pockets stuffed with smartphones and tablets these days. If you are the watch-wearing sort though, you might like this new watch from Cadence that has the style geeks crave. The watch is called the 4-Bit Chronograph Watch.

Rather than numbers around the face, each of the numbers is represented in its binary code. The case is made from stainless steel and the watch hands are luminescent. The band is real leather with a saddle-stitch and the works are water resistant to 5ATM. The glass is sapphire coated quartz.

The only downside is that the watch is expensive at $195 (USD). However, if you want one and you pre-order you can get it for 40% off right now and pay just $119. The watch will ship in July. Is this thing geeky enough for you? Its geek shtick is pretty mild.

The first thing that popped in my mind when I saw this backpack is the Koopas, from Super Mario Bros. As we all know, Koopas are the race of turtles against which Mario has to fight. For some reason, this backpack includes spikes, so you’re probably closer to being Bowser or Iggy Koopa than just a plain old Koopa.

It’s got some breathable back pads, two exterior zip pockets, and an another one inside.

I was just watching Revenge of the Sith on Spike last night, so I’ve had Star Wars and stormtroopers on the brain since then. So I was doing a search this morning when I came across this thing. What you’re looking at here is a leather motorcycle mask based roughly on the shape of a stormtrooper’s helmet. At least the bottom part.

This menacing mask was made by Etsy seller EpicLeather, and is hand-crafted from Veg Tan leather, with rivet accents. It’s lined with foam and suede for comfort. The mask’s creator says that he’s worn one on his bike at up to 85MPH, and it provides great wind resistance (although he’s quick to point out that it’s not a safety device).

While the mask pictured here is in a natural color, the stormtrooper mask can be ordered in a variety of colors, including white – which is the only color that I think makes sense. You can get your hands on one over at Etsy for $199.99 (USD).

Honestly, if I saw a dude getting off his bike wearing one of these in the brown leather, I’d think the apocalypse was upon us. On the other hand, if I saw him wearing one in white, with a matching helmet, I’d probably go up to him and start quoting lines from Return of the Jedi.

People’s obsession with Apple’s wildly popular smartphone has produced quite a lot of offshoot products as a result, such as iPhone-themed throw pillows, jewelry, and accessories. And then there are the iPhone cases with designs ranging from the plain and ordinary to the weird and wacky.

Somewhere in the middle of both categories is the justinCase that not only protects your iPhone but also protects you from contracting any unwanted STDs. That’s right, we’re talking about that kind of protection.

justinCase is a slim textured leather case that looks just like any other plain old boring iPhone case except it’s got something that the others don’t: a secret compartment where you can stash an equally slim packet of rubber. And by rubber, we mean condom.

Need to access your secret stash in a hurry? No problemo. Just reach over and slide the thin panel from the back of the case and you’re all set.

Unfortunately, the justinCase is still a concept design for now (I can hear several dudes and dudettes sighing in disappointment right now) but don’t fret. Hopefully its designer, Chris Holder, can manage to get a hold (yes, pun intended) of some good people who are willing to put this baby into production.

Grove has two options available. The first one costs $79 (USD) and is a hard case that merges a bamboo back and a customizable leather smart cover, kind of like the one that’s available from Apple.

The hard case will be available in 3 to 6 weeks, and they’re taking pre-orders now with a $20 deposit.

I guess Bentley is looking to widen its brand-appeal beyond those that can afford to purchase one of its seriously high-end six-figure automobiles. Bentley has unveiled a new line of leather cases for gadgets like the iPhone, iPad, and Blackberry that have Bentley’s elegant style.

The cases are cut from the same leather hides that are used in Bentley auto interiors and made by the same company – Ettinger. The cases come in Hotspur or Beluga colors, which to us normal folk are black or red.

Each case has contrasting stitching and they look pretty cool. The iPad case will set you back $146 (USD) and the smartphone cases are $73. Those prices are surprisingly reasonable considering the brand. Availability is unknown at this time.

The HOON vs. Neo Legend joystick will feature “traditional craftsmanship, luxury materials and high technology.” Which basically means each one is handmade in a Parisian workshop, using lacquered oak, and wrapped in ostrich leather, and loaded with a high-quality set of Sanwa hardware that works for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC gaming.

I don’t know how much this thing is going to cost, but I’m going to bet it’ll be pricey when it comes out on February 18th. If you want to reserve one, drop an email to order[at]hoon.fr to get on the pre-order list.

We have seen and talked about a bunch of watchbands for the iPod nano and all of them that I can think of have been made of plastic or silicone, and look modern and slick. If you are the emo sort of geek, that just won’t cut it. Everyone knows that emo geeks need leather with studs.

Rest easy emo folks, your watchband has arrived. It comes from Elecom and is big, wide, and made of leather. It may be lacking in the stud and zipper department, but you can always whip out your Bedazzler or something. You can get brown color in addition to the black.

The hardware has a burnished brass looking finish and a leather strap hold the nano onto the main watchstrap body. Apparently, the straps are about $43 each, and will be hitting Japan in January. No word on when you’ll be able to get one elsewhere.

I’ve run across a number of designs for iPad bluetooth keyboards, but most of them are quite expensive for what they are. The guys over at gadget importer EFO are now offering a model which provides both a case and a keyboard for just $50 bucks. Not bad.

The EFO folding iPad case is made from leather, and has a built-in keyboard so you can type much faster than you can with the on-screen keyboard. When closed, the case offers protection for your delicate iPad.According to the specs, the keyboard should run for about a week on a single charge, more if you’re only using it a few hours a day.

Click to View Embedded Video Clip

While it’s hard to tell what the build quality is like from the pictures, I have to say that $50 seems completely reasonable for a single device that combines both a case and a wireless keyboard. You can order one over at the EFO-Shop now.

If you’re in the market for a new digital watch and want something a little out of the ordinary, you might want to check out the latest timepiece from Nooka – the ZAZ. Now, I’m not a big fan of the name, which sounds like some sort of tacky accessory store from the 1980s, but the watch’s cool modern style belies its rather silly name.

The ZAZ tells time using a minimal liquid-crystal display that that indicates the hours, minutes and seconds using stacks of dots and dashes. Unlike most LCD watches, the ZAZ features an unusual transparent screen that lets you see through to your wrist below. And unlike some other unconventional watch displays out there, this one is actually pretty easy to tell the time with.

The stainless-steel watch comes is positioned asymmetrically on its band, lending to its distinct looks. Each one is water-resistant to 3ATM, and is available with either a black or white leather band, or one with mesh silver styling. The Nooka ZAZ will ship later this Fall, and is available for pre-order over at Watchismo for $380 (USD).

Audiophiles listen up: pimp up and pamper your headphones with these leather covers from Berlin-based design agency BLESS. The covers come in black or anthracite – that’s gray for us common folk.

As you can see each headphone sock cover has an extra compartment, perfect for placing spare coins, or even an extra pair of earphones. Hell an iPod shuffle would fit in there. Stylish and functional. Sold yet? That’ll be € 475.00 please.

Yes, that’s no typo: almost $700 (USD) for a pair of leather coin purse/earmuff thingies. High quality leather coin purse/earmuff thingies, but still. Actually if you look at the product page, you’ll see… nothing. No relevant information aside from the designers’ names. Which means that there’s a good chance that the Sony headphones are included with the purchase, as absurd as that sounds. Or not. I’m not familiar with the value system of rich people. Is $700 to them like $100 is to me?

Lest you accuse me of ignoring the needs of a minority, moneyed peoples should tell their servants to hit up colette and snag the leather covers. Again it’s €475.00 ($693), VAT included. Thank goodness.
