<p>By joining a number of individual speaker cones to a single central spider-like structure, the orb can project sound in every direction. Unfortunately, this is only a conceptual design at this point, and Maes hasn&#8217;t announced plans to produce these.</p>
<p>I guess for now, I&#8217;ll need to cut some corners and go with the <a href="http://technabob.com/blog/2007/09/06/dodecasub-12-sided-subwoofer-scores-massive-hit-points/">12-Sided Subwoofer</a>.</p>
