As you can see, four of the six Avengers featured in the upcoming movie have their own scent – Captain America, Iron Man, Hulk and Thor. Hawkeye and Black Widow probably don’t have their own cologne because they like to be sneaky and so they don’t want to have a distinctive scent. I have no logical alibi for the Hulk cologne, or for these Nick Fury and Loki perfumes.

Tell Jarvis to warm up the Quinjet and head to Urban Collector to pre-order these colognes. The first four come as a set and can be yours for $47 (USD), while the Nick Fury and Loki colognes cost $32 each. Or you can get something that works every time, 60% of the time.

Europeans have had this arcade stick for a little while, and now it’s our turn here in the States. As you can see it features several characters from the Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 game on the base of the controller itself. Each one has an arcade-quality joystick, eight gaming buttons, and a turbo function. The Xbox 360 version also has a connector for newer headsets.

The Hori Fight Stick for Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 is available for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 for $149.99(USD). You can get one from Hori’s US website. It’s a bit late for Christmas, but hell, you deserve one last gift.

Marvel Digital’s Soft Rubber Tip Stylus Pocket Pen doubles as a both a capacitive stylus and a pen, which is handy because when you’re not using it with your tablet or smartphone, you can write stuff on paper with it.

The main problem I’ve had with styluses is that they don’t allow you to use multi-touch gestures, which can be annoying. The capacitive ones are also not that precise either. Still, if you have use for a one, the pen/stylus combo sells for $10(USD) from Marvel Digital.

I’m not a Doctor Who fan myself, but even if I was I’d still probably think this shirt is unbalanced in its variety. Where’s Doctor Doom? Dr. Strange? Dr. Fate? Dr. Arthur Light? And again, no Zoidberg?! The art’s great though. Dr. Manhattan’s giant head made me smile. You can order the shirt at Red Bubble for about $28 (USD).

Deadpool’s savagely scarred and punctured head is the latest accessory from Gentle Giant for your office supplies. I guess they are running out of ideas. Maybe next we will see a stabbed Spiderman head, no doubt the work of a disturbed Jonah Jameson, Editor of the Daily Bugle and all around hot-head. Really, this is the best they could do for Deadpool?

Well, Deadpool is always making more enemies, I suppose. I guess he finally ticked off the wrong guy. This is a great item for those who hate the character to have on their desk. Unfortunately for you, it won’t be available until September of next year for a rather nightmarish $88.99 (USD) over at Entertainment Earth.

The Mercury Pad Tablet has a 7-inch multi-touch screen with 800 × 400 resolution, and runs Android 2.3. It has two cameras: a front-facing 0.3MP and a rear-facing 2MP one. It comes with a 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, expandable storage from 4GB to 16GB, and an HDMI output.

The device is sleek and unobtrusive, making it interesting for some uses, like reading books and quickly consulting your emails. As a matter of fact, it looks sort of like a giant iPhone 4.

Apparently, these Iron Man USB flash drives were released in Japan around the same time, and can now be found over on eBay.

They’re available in both gold/red and shiny silver versions, and they look pretty awesome. The even have cool LED eyes that light up when you plug them into your USB port.

Unfortunately, they don’t store all that much – just 4GB – but if you’re buying one of these, you’re getting it for the looks. If you need lots of storage, you’ll have to look elsewhere then Iron Man’s head.

Both the red and gold drive and silver drive are selling for just $19.99 (USD), which makes them way cheaper than the goofy American version too.

The only origami I ever made were paper cranes, and they were pretty simple. That’s the opposite of Brian’s Iron Man, which looks insanely complicated. Still, the end result is pretty awesome. Naturally, Brian used the appropriately gold and red paper so that his Iron Man looks the part.

I wonder if he’ll tackle War Machine next. I could see kids playing with these origami, so you could replace some action figures with these ones made out of paper, but good luck trying to fold it the right way. It’s probably going to take some trial and error to get this done…

The stealth armor is blue – instead of the usual red and gold, so that’s a winner in my book. The eyes and uni-beam light up. The overall bust has got a lot of details, so it will feel at home on the desk of any geek or geekette. The bust measures 10 inches in height and is hand-painted. You’ll have to act quick though. There are only 1,500 of these babies available.

This statue is about 11 inches in height and comes with a 4-inch, mustachioed, steampunk Tony Stark. Kuriscak frankensteined the sculpture together from an old NFL action figure. Then some Transformers were added while the arms came from a robotic Hulk figure.

Kuriscak admits that he had to do a lot of sculpting with plastic in order to get the look just right. It even includes a light feature, that flickers on and off to give the effect of a that it’s powered by steam.  Current bids on the auction put it around $175 (USD), but it’s still got 2 days left.

Kuriscak’s next sculpture is going to involve a steampunk Thor.

From the looks of the video clip below, it’s not the most practical way to play a combo-based fighter, and they have to play in “Simple” mode just to have any chance of playing, but for some reason, it never dawned on me that you could play other non-music games with your music peripherals. I don’t know why, but I just never thought about it.

It just makes me want to see if I can get through the entirety of Ninja Gaiden II on hard mode using only my Rock Band drum kit and a couple of drum sticks.

The game is called Marvel Super Hero Squad Online, and from what I saw in the trailer, it seems that the MMO will have some sort of trading card feature to summon certain characters, although according to Gazillion, players will actually be able to play as Marvel characters. I don’t know if playing as Silver Surfer will still be awesome if you know that there are thousands of you out there. On the other hand, development for the game is still in its early stages, so I’ll reserve my judgment until I see some gameplay footage and know more about the game.

While we’ve long been able to read comics on our computers, the integration of a book store into the app makes this a very good solution for both Marvel and fans. The former finally has a competitive alternative to unofficial comic book scans, while the latter now has an even easier way of getting comics.

I hope that Marvel includes some sort of buyback option, where users can “sell” their digital copies back to Marvel, basically deleting their copy in exchange for credit which can be accumulated and used to buy more comics. That way it’d be more affordable for people to try out new series and franchises.

I’m not sure how an unknown company pulled this geek coup off, but I bet it has a lot to do with major TV makers having too much respect for their products to adorn them with comic book drawings and then not aim the things at kids. With the prices these sets demand, kids aren’t the target market here.

The TVs come in a wide range of characters with favorites like The Hulk, Wolverine, Captain America and many more. The sets come in LCD versions with 22″, 32″, 42″, and 55″ screens. LED backlit versions are available with 40″ and 46″ screens. All of the sets have a sure-to-get-annoying splash screen that shows for eight seconds when the TV is first turned on with the comic book heroes and the heroes are featured on the lower bezel of the sets. Resolutions vary with screen size between 720p and 1080p with prices ranging from $339 to $1989 (USD).

So many things went wrong. So many things. The anime is supposedly an expanded version – that’s one way of putting it – of a 1980s Wolverine vs. ninjas storyline by Chris Claremont. Details which are now moot because of that trailer. It could be the tale of a power balladeer ninja for all I care.
