Nyan nyan nyan nyanyanyanyan! Sorry. Ben has only successfully tested the Nyan Cat progress bar on Windows 7, and says outright that it won’t work properly on Windows XP. I just know there’s someone out there who will upgrade from XP to 7 just to get this to work. Ben also says that the cat may only play nicely with the Windows File Explorer progress bar. These pictures are actual copies of the public advisory made by the San Obispo police. They sent these images to Gawker in response to the blog’s article about this ridiculousness. A cursory glance at the advisory makes it obvious that it only makes things worse, as it singles out people who cosplayed as Pedobear and even a car owner who has a Pedobear sticker. As much as it pains me to say it, if you drop by or live in said County you better not be caught with any Pedobear-related image, because chances are you’ll be branded a pedophile. It’s the first documented case of memism folks. Them police be memists.

While they’re at it, police should also be on the lookout for Hamburglar, because that mascot is clearly promoting thievery.

What’s the name of the Power Rangers guys in Disgaea again? They were funny. And Mid-Boss! So much wasted potential.

Staying true to it’s digital origins, Thompson made the banhammer using 3D printing. Thompson also says that it’s a “speldge” hammer. I don’t know what that is, so I’ll just assume that it’s the sound produced when the hammer is brought down on mortal flesh.

Thompson was kind enough to post instructions on making a banhammer, but if you’re not familiar with 3D modeling the instructions won’t make sense. Hey Chris, maybe you should try making a disemvoweler too.
