Got a few thousand spare compact discs lying around? Designer Belen Hermosa apparently had a few spare CDs and created this funky modern chair out of them.
For some reason, I’m guessing it’s not the world’s most comfortable chair, but it sure beats sitting on a bunch of 8-track tapes…

Designer Kei Yamamoto created these lighting fixtures that look like giant LEDs. Made from acrylic, aluminum and a dozen LED light sources each, they’re each about 20-times the size of a normal light-emitting diode.
The fixtures’ clear acrylic shell and arrangement of LEDs create a beautiful visual effect on the wall above the lamps…
