I was wandering the cereal aisle in my local grocery store looking for my morning sugar fix, when I stumbled this Xbox-themed promotion in boxes of cereal.
Six Xbox-branded mini-games are available in specially-marked boxes of Kellogg’s cereal (I always wanted to say that), including Apple Jacks, Cocoa Krispies, Corn Pops, Froot Loops, Honey Smacks and Frosted Flakes…

Earlier today, we broke the news that new Microsoft Zune media players had shown up on the FCC website for approval. In the last few hours, many more details about the new models have surfaced around the web.
For starters, there will be an 80GB hard drive model, similar to the original Zune models, but packing a larger 3.2-inch QVGA screen, and a slimmer case design…

Bored with your old black or white Xbox 360 controller? How about pink or blue? I’m not sure if Microsoft is going for the whole “blue is for boys, pink is for girls” thing here, or just trying to give us a little color choice.
Frankly the pink and grey version reminds me a bit too much of Good and Plenty…

By now those in the know are aware that Microsoft is just about set to release several new Zune media players. Thanks to some drawings over at the FCC website, I can confirm that there are definitely new models in the works.
The diagram I was able to dig up shows the label placement on both 4GB and 8GB flash-based player models aimed squarely at the iPod Nano…

Well, I managed to make it through the entire launch week without a single post about Halo 3. Then eBay had to ruin it all for me. I’ve finally managed to find a Halo-related story that wasn’t redundant with the mountain of coverage that’s been out there. So without further ado, I present the Master Chief toilet seat…

In what could be a serious blow to Microsoft’s exclusivity on the popular Project Gotham Racing franchise, developer Bizarre Creations is no longer an independent player. The UK development studio was gobbled up by Activision today.
Plans are to keep the Liverpool, England studio completely intact, along with its 160 staff members…

Ah, the good old Nintendo Entertainment System. Like a hermit crab’s shell, its been modded to hold everything from DVD players to complete PC systems. Now an enterprising young modder going by the name of xmod4u has managed to stuff an original Xbox inside the case of the classic 8-bit NES console…

The latest in Bizarre Creations’ critically-acclaimed racing series is officially “in the can”. Project Gotham Racing 4 has gone gold, and is off to production for us to get our grubby little hands on in the very near future.
In addition to announcing this major milestone, Bizarre also released the (massive) final list of vehicles in the game, and it doesn’t disappoint…
