Daleks Invade London: Sanctioned by the BBC

It was a strange sight on London’s Westminster Bridge when people saw Daleks rolling about, getting ready to exterminate everyone. The procession included four generations of Daleks, showing how the mutant creatures had evolved during the years.

The top photo commemorates a classic scene in a 1964 episode that featured the Daleks invading London.

Those pesky mutants in their robot vehicles have been mistakenly thought as cyborgs, but they aren’t! They’re mutants! Steven Moffat announced recently that the Daleks were being retired from Doctor Who, much to the chagrin of many.

There are now various Dalek models on display at The Doctor Who Experience exhibition in London’s Olympia until this November.

I now suspect that a real-life Dr. Wily exists, and that he resides in Turkey: veterinarian Erhan Elibol performed a cesarean operation on a pregnant sheep. The lamb was stillborn, but perhaps it was all for the best, because the lamb had a human-like face. Vets think that the lamb’s mother’s vitamin-A rich food may have caused the mutation.

If the lamb was alive it would have grown up to become a terrible level boss, stoppable only by a man who is mega. Or rock, depending on where you live. Seriously though, the poor lamb would have been killed by horrified or disgusted neighbors anyway – which, according to the Daily Telegraph, is exactly what happened to a baby goat in Zimbabwe that was born with the exact same abnormality. Or perhaps it would have been carted away to a lab and subjected to all sorts of tests. Go straight to heaven, Sheep Man Lamb Kid. We hardly knew ewe. Sorry.

Then again, this may be a hoax. Photoshop wizards, check out the original picture at the Daily Telegraph and see if it’s legit or not.

Iron Man and Wolverine Anime Coming in 2010: the Wolverine One’S Looking Very Japanese Already

Topless Robot posted the trailers for the upcoming Iron Man and Wolverine anime. According to Mania, both features will be shown on Animax in spring 2010. Both of them will be produced by super studio Madhouse, responsible for classics like Ninja Scroll, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Trigun, Millennium Actress, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Hajime no Ippo and many other awesome stuff that I want to watch again.

The evil dude’s transformation was awesome. He looks a bit like Guyver. Mmmm Iron Man vs. Guyver. And here’s the not so awesome Wolverine trailer:

So many things went wrong. So many things. The anime is supposedly an expanded version – that’s one way of putting it – of a 1980s Wolverine vs. ninjas storyline by Chris Claremont. Details which are now moot because of that trailer. It could be the tale of a power balladeer ninja for all I care.

Twisted Crafter Creates Horrible Gingerbread Creatures

Crafter/felt baker/goth pastry master ckrolczyk probably got tired of seeing lookalike gingerbread men and set out to redeem the great Gingerbread name with these wacky, felt gingerbread…beings. I would expect no less from someone with a username like ckrolczyk. First up, Gingerbread Cthulhu:

Gingerbread Zombie reminds me of me. Finally we have Gingerbread Mutant/Monster:

Ckrolczyk may have pwned a lot of bakers & crafters with these designs, but you’ll never see me put anything resembling Cthulhu anywhere near my mouth. There is no way in hell. Unless it’s Gummi Cthulhu.
