Together with one accomplice, this unidentified man in a TMNT’s mask held up a Wendy’s cashier at gunpoint for the money in the register. The crime happened at the Wendy’s in Rib Mountain, Wisconsin, early Monday morning.

Marathon County detectives have released an image of the type of mask used during the robbery, as you can see above. The TNMT and his accomplice bound the employees’ hands and ankles with duct tape and emptied the registers before running away with the cash.

The Marathon County detectives are still trying to get to the bottom of the case. I doubt Splinter would be happy to hear that one of his students has turned into a petty thief.

You! Shinobi! I can’t see you but I know you’re there. I’ve already shown you the kunai USB drive, which is definitely fit for a ninja but is priced for a shogun. If you need a stealthy and pointy flash drive but are strapped for cash, just follow the instructions of Instructables user eyefail and you’ll end up with something like this:

Unlike most of the DIY projects we’ve seen, this one is surprisingly simple to make. Simply put, you make an outline of your shuriken design on paper, then use that to trace and cut out two halves from a piece of foam-core poster board. Then trace and cut out a space for the actual flash drive that you’ll hide on the halves. Then it’s just a matter of gluing the pieces together.

It’s eyefail’s finishing moves that makes the shuriken USB look good. A deadly combination of black acrylic paint, spray paint and aluminum foil along with quick ninja slashes to give the housing a weathered look. Go, do your jumping from tree to tree thing until you reach Instructables so you can read the full instructions.

Nothing is a more annoying or uglier looking sight than all those little holes in the wall after removing the pins you used to tack up posters, reminders, and other sorts of similar paper paraphernalia. Teeny, tiny holes are okay; but when they’re pretty obvious and staring back at you like black, beady eyes, then it’s, er, not.

And that’s what the Ninjapins are looking to eliminate.

Inheriting the stealth and careful ways of the actual ninjas where the pins got their name from, they won’t leave those huge pinpricks that normal pins will. Instead, you’ll get something like the greater-than symbol once you remove them from you walls, which is a whole lot better looking and totally less noticeable.

The Ninjapins are available from Assiston, an online Japanese retailer, for around $5 (¥420) for a box of 5, and $10 (¥840) for 15.

Now we’ve heard everything. News broke about the Chinese student who sold his kidney to buy an iPad 2, and now things are getting even more crazy and weirder.

Around 4:43 AM on June 3, it was reported that a man dressed in a ninja suit drove a dark gray or blue Honda into the Apple storefront in a very bad attempt at burglary. Ninjas are supposed to be known for their stealth methods of attacking or breaking into a place. But this one apparently dropped out or flunked Ninja Academy because he broke all of the rules in the book.

No one was hurt in the bizarre incident, and nothing was taken from the Apple Store either. Talk about weird. But I bet you would abandon a burglary attempt if you had created that much ruckus from the get go.

As we progress toward Christmas (hey, I walked into the grocery store yesterday and they were wearing Santa hats, so don’t complain to me about it being too early to talk about this stuff) you’ll no doubt start to encounter festive treats such as gingerbread men.

If you’re one of the people making these cookie people, why not think outside the box? Everyone makes gingerbread men, but how many times have you come upon a ninjabread Man? Yeah, that’s what I thought. If you were to pick up a set of these awesome $9 Ninjabread Men Cookie Cutters, you’d be the hit of the office Christmas party.

You’ll want to be careful when preparing these treats. Regardless of the fact that they are cookies, you are still dealing with ninjas. You may want to take extra precautions, such as making pirate cookies as well. We all know that the only way to counter ninjas is with pirates.

There are very few games where dying is a crucial mechanic, a requisite step; Beatnik Games’ Plain Sight is one of the few games that comes to mind. And that’s just because they e-mailed me to remind that the game is just about done. If you haven’t heard about it yet, Plain Sight is like Super Smash Bros. mixed with Super Mario Galaxy mixed with suicidal ninja robots.

Like in a lot of other games today, Plain Sight lets players compete by killing each other. But in order to win, at some point you’ll have to blow yourself up. Blowing yourself up “banks” or stores the energy you’ve earned for defeating other players and converts them into points. At the same time this gives you the opportunity to earn more points by taking out other players in the explosion.

Click to View Embedded Video Clip

The conflict here is that the more energy you get, the stronger/faster/better your character gets, so players will have to decide whether or not to keep on playing as a dominating character, or avoid the risk of being taken out – and thus losing the energy you’ve gathered – and kill their characters before the other players do.

Beatnik Games’ wacky concept for a video game starts hitting online store shelves on March 22 for only $10 (USD). The game will feature 13 multiplayer maps where up to 20 players can do battle. It also features 5 game modes, including classics like deathmatch and capture the flag as well as original modes such as the Ninja! Ninja! Ninja! Robozilla!

Beatnik is also working on a WiiWare and PS3 version of Plain Sight, but for the meantime it’s Windows-only. Check out Beatnik Games’ blog and the game’s official website for more info.

Ninjas have a lot of sweet moves. There’s the throw-a-smoke-bomb-and-disappear-move, the run-so-fast-to-evade-bullets-move, and the flaming-giant-skeleton-beast-thing-summoning-that’s-not-even-a-ninja-move-anymore-move. But none of their 108 million moves can help them save their data. That’s why everyday at sunset, after practicing their killyouwithapinchinthearmpitjitsus, ninjas power up their PCs and order a bunch of Kunai USB drives.

The device can hold 2 GB of data. It’s pointy too. However, if you’re a real ninja you know that this is not a real Kunai and so it must not be treated as a weapon. Your fist however, is a different story altogether. Your fist, especially if it is of the North Star, can punch holes through men. For real.

You can buy a Kunai USB drive at GeekStuff4U for $125 (USD). It seems that real ninjas have lots of cash money as well.

Since the average work day affords so few opportunities to assert one’s ninja prowess, you can make up for that with these ninja tacks by Chromoly.

They’re designed to look like you’ve just gone through a fit of rage and thrown ninja stars at your bulletin board from across the room. However, it’s all an optical illusion created by their clever design.

All I’m saying is, if you get pushed around at the office, this might be a low-maintenance way to mysteriously imply you have mad secret ninja skills and could snap at any moment. Unfortunately, they’re just a prototype, but hopefully someone will realize how awesome they are and start producing them.
