If I could get her playing real golf that good, I could be like Tiger’s dad and stop working. The only issue she has with Wii Golf is that her little hands can’t quire press the button down enough to get up to the ball and stay there. Each time her turn comes around her little character dances back and forth from in front of the ball to beside the ball until she finally whacks it straighter than I can.

At E3, Power A pulled the wraps off some new controllers for the Wii that are sized for users with small hands, and still work with the Wii MotionPlus add-on. The controller is called the MiniRemote and MiniChuck and they claim to be 35% smaller than the normal Wii controllers are. I wonder if I got them if my daughter will give me a 35% harder butt kicking next time we play.

Currently just a concept design by Joe D!, his mod envisions a layer of woodgrain veneer (probably just vinyl decals) for all of his Wii controllers. From the Wii-Mote to the Nunchuk to the Classic Controller and even they Nyko Perfect Shot – they all get wood. Not only that, the controllers get some bright white backlit buttons and a nice black paint job to bring out the woody goodness.

It only leaves me wondering what sort of look he has planned for the Wii itself. No word on if or when Joe will bring his concept to fruition, but I’ll be sure to post photos of the real deal if and when he does.

This 18-in-1 Wii Sports accessory kit comes with a pair of tennis rackets, a steering wheel, pool cue, golf club, baseball bat, a joypad holster and myriad other add-ons for your console. The package also includes silicon covers for your controllers, a stand for your console and even a cooling fan.

You can grab the entire set of accessories for about $45 from DealExtreme. Personally, I’ll just leave mine the way it came from Nintendo.

Nyko’s new Wireless Nunchuk (or Nunchuck if you’re not using the proper Nintendo nomenclature) controller lets you play games that require both the Wii-mote and Nunchuk to operate completely without the annoying cable between the controllers. The $30 wireless controller works just like the one Nintendo includes, but transmits its signal to an adapter that snaps on to the bottom of your Wii-mote.

Expect the Nyko Wireless Nunchuk to hit stores sometime later in Q1 2008.

Just strap your Wii-mote and Nunchuk controllers into these inflatable gloves, pump them up with air, and you’re ready to duke it out with your favorite boxing game. Regardless of the extra padding the cushion of air might provide, I don’t recommend that you punch your $2000 plasma screen with these.

If you don’t mind looking a bit silly while you play a little Hajime no Ippo Revolution, you can pick up a pair of the gloves for just under 15 bucks here.

PEGA’s $12.99 Wii Airplane Controller Stand suction cups onto any flat surface, giving you something that approximates a flight wheel on a plain. Just stick your Nunchuk on the one side, and your Wii-mote on the other, and you’ll be taking off and landing like a pro… just as soon as some more flying games comes out.

If only this early prototype flying game had actually made it into Wii Sports…

This 3rd-party Wii Blaster transforms your Wii-mote and Nunchuk controllers into a serious looking weapon. The Wii-mote mounts into the front of the gun, while the Nunchuk clips into the handle. While DealExtreme is selling the $16 add-on as a “rifle,” I’d have to say it looks more like a shotgun to me.

Regardless, I’d much rather have one of these for Gears of War or Halo 3 than for Duck Hunt. Are you listening Microsoft?

These details were leaked in a European retail price list, and list a release date of June 29, 2007. There’s no telling if these controllers will be available worldwide or when.
