It’s extremely rare – if not unheard of – for me to write two posts about the same person in a row. However, while I was researching designer Craigton Berman’s totally awesome LEGO remote control concept, I came across this lamp over on his website and just had to mention it.

Don’t fret if that title doesn’t make any sense. This bacon-scented soap celebrating reddit’s admittedly adorable mascot doesn’t make any sense, either, except that, well, the alien is cute, and bacon is delicious. But with those truisms out of the way, there’s no explaining the bacon reddit soap. There is only awe sprinkled with shock.

These nifty little speaker systems look just like classic electric guitar amps, only a whole lot smaller. Modeled after classic amps by musical greats Marshall and US Blues, these teensy little amps are perfect for the rocker in your house.
Measuring in between 5 and 8 inches tall, they’re perfect scale replicas of their larger…

This bold all-in-one computer borrows its combo concept from the iMac, but is actually a gaming PC. Modder Ville ‘Willek’ Kyrö always liked the idea of small-form-factor computers, but wanted the expandability and power to run his PC games. Being a talented modder with numerous cases under his belt, Willek decided that could have his…

Parappa the Rapper has got to be one of the greatest rhythm matching games of all time. From its whimsical 2D cartoon character designs to its hysterical lyrics, it’s a true classic. Now you can pay homage to the paper-thin Parappa by donning the same hat that the eponymous paper-thin dog wore in the game.
Handcrafted…

Design virtuoso Philippe Starck continues to crank out some beautifully minimal timepieces, and these are no exception. The Starck Palindrome series offers up a design so clean that it doesn’t even look like it has a minute hand at first glance.
Look closer, and you’ll notice that the minute hand is actually replaced by the…

What better way to use a couple of old Macintosh computers?
All it took was a little orange paint for the “pumpkin”, and a JPEG viewer application for the face. This is the best use for old Macs since the original MacQuarium.
Got a great geeky holiday craft idea? Send us a tip!

The slick black case and bright, easy-to-read displays on these Slan LED watches really caught my eye.
There’s just something so refreshing about a digital watch that’s just clean and simple, unencumbered by extraneous information or newfangled display paradigms.
The face of these chunky black watches is simply a numeric readout of the current time…

The funky-cool Reveal Watch by pioneering typographer/designer Daniel Will-Harris tells the time by gradually revealing the digits hidden behind a set of partially opaque discs.
As each minute and hour passes, the previous number gradually fades away, revealing the next number in the sequence. There’s a little tiny dot in the center which indicates seconds…

I’ve always been enamored of Phillipe Starck’s contemporary watch designs. Now the prolific designer is readying yet another beautiful watch for Fossil’s S+ARCK line.
The new (as yet unnamed) digital features a unique segmented design, which splits the time display from the day and date into two separate windows. Each one is stacked onto a…

Here’s a wacky mobile phone out of China that looks like it’s ready to lift off into orbit.
The Shenzhou VII rocket phone conjures up images of 1950s science fiction with its orange spaceship design. While it is definitely different, the shape isn’t particularly practical. In addition to being too big to fit comfortably in…
