Ufc Undisputed 2010 Patch to Fix Online Multiplayer Issues

Initially I bought UFC Undisputed 2010 for its career mode, but I ended up being disappointed with it, and so are a lot of other gamers. To make things worse, the online multiplayer is even worse than the career mode. Fortunately, THQ is going to address the online multiplayer issues in an upcoming patch, while also making a few in-game tweaks in the process.

Personally I don’t care about the online multiplayer aspect of most games, since I have a dodgy Internet connection, so I don’t even bother checking them out. But if you’re liking the details of this patch, just keep an eye on the official UFC Undisputed forum for more updates. Or we could all just wait for the patch to be released.

I Came, I Saw, I Played Zelda Ii in Latin

If you’re not above playing a hacked ROM or two, you can experience something truly special: Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, in Latin. Or should I say Zelda II: Expeditio Linci? It sounds more dignified somehow.

Why make a Latin language patch for Zelda II? A better question might be: why did it take so long? Though the above does look better with the infamous “I am Error” dialogue, the very idea of playing Zelda II in Latin is simply hilarious… and might make more sense in some parts.

Now if only I could convince someone to dub the old Zelda TV series in Latin. I’m sure the CD-I games is far too much to ask.

Sony PS3 Background Downloads Coming in March

While the Sony PlayStation 3 certainly hasn’t yet lived up to original expectations, there are still several million of us who did buy the console, and would like it to become part of our regular gaming regimen.

Sure, many of us are annoyed by the frequent system updates that we’ve had to sit through, but most of the downloads have improved the console in some way. Most recently, the 1.5 and 1.51 updates fixed the majority of problems with PS2 backwards compatibility. Now, Sony plans on releasing an update this March (tentatively called v1.6) which will fix one of the biggest shortcomings of the console, the lack of background downloading.

According to a recent Games Informer interview with Sony boss Phil Harrison, the forthcoming release will add the ability to download while you do other things, which the Xbox 360 has been able to do for some time now. The release is also supposed to include some other significant changes, but they haven’t yet been revealed.
