I have to admit that Bubble Bobble has always been one of my favorite classic arcade games. To this date, I still bust out a game or two on my Dingoo emulator when I need to get my mind off of things. It’s about time this game got a little gamer craft love, with Tetris, Space Invaders, and Pac-Man seemingly getting all of the attention.

While these Bubble Bobble pillow covers probably won’t keep you quite on the edge of your seat as playing a game of Taito’s retro classic, they will look great sitting on your couch (or your cave of monsters). While snatching up this pillow isn’t likely to give you the ability to toss fireballs (though how cool would that be?), it just might add a little life–or, uh, heat–to your sofa.

This super-soft-looking pillow is one of a series celebrating a variety of Super Mario Bros-related objects, and if you ask me? It’s certainly the prettiest. Maybe I’m just partial to the nested circles and the bright colors, but surprisingly, fire flowers make great pillows. But the simple designs from Nintendo’s original powerhouse all look great in appliqué form, it seems.

deviantARTist Omonomopoeia seems to work in sets; the pillows shown here only represent about half of the pillow series, and before that, earrings and charms seemed to dominate. Nothing like a little variety to keep your fandom fresh.

I always loved the game Berzerk back when it hit arcades all the way back in 1980. But for some reason, it’s one of those few classic games that doesn’t get much love these days (although technabob’s mascot was “borrowed” from the game). So when I saw these Berzerk pillows today, it made me grin from ear to ear.

These crocheted Berzerk pillows are lovingly handcrafted by PlayTimeCreations. Each one features the pixel-block imagery of either a cyclops robot, green humanoid or one of those damned bouncing ball smiley face things (officially known as “Evil Otto”).
