Nintendo Wii Tobacco Pipe: You Can Put Your Wii-d In There

While it’s home to all sorts of cool artist creations, you can definitely your share of weird stuff over on Etsy, too. Take, for instance, this “tobacco bowl” made up in the form of a Nintendo Wii controller. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess this isn’t official Nintendo merchandise.

This Wii-mote shaped wooden pipe has been hand-sanded, woodburned, and coated with carnauba wax so you can smoke your *uhm* tobacco in it. Now, I’ve never personally witnessed anybody smoking tobacco in this way, but seller Nirvana Corner is quick to point out “**This item is for Tobacco use only**,” so I’m going to take their word for it. In the mean time, I’ll be checking out their Bob Marley switchplates and hemp necklaces. That all said, this Wii-mote is best for tobacco smoking at precisely 4:20pm.

Boba Fett Helmet Pipe: The Empire Strikes Back, Then Has the Munchies

Ok, this could to be the strangest Star Wars item I’ve ever come across. It’s a glass pipe in the shape of Boba Fett’s helmet.

I guess when Boba Fett needs a break from a hard day’s bounty hunting, he straps this thing on, and mellows out. Yep, apparently the mouthpiece is inside of the glass helmet, so you smoke it while you wear it.

Do you think Darth Vader would have hired Fett to find the Millennium Falcon if he knew he was a stoner? Guess the Empire might want to think about starting to administer random drug tests.

DIY Submarine Made From Pvc: Dive! Dive!

This remotely operated vehicle was created thanks to the brains of Jason Rollette, who’s been at it for about five years. This is the second version of his ROV submarine, which is built mostly from PVC tubing.

This kind of reminds me of the movie Abyss for some reason. The ROV submarine uses four 500gph and two 1,250gph bilge pumps. The bigger ones are used for propulsion while the smaller ones are used to dive and surface.

It’s got lights and naturally a functioning camera, which lets Jason guide it into the depths. Jason actually designed some non-explosive torpedoes as well. Sweet. Incredibly, all of the parts needed to build this sub are available at any home improvement store.

He’s got an meticulously detailed guide on how to create your own. Here’s a link to the basic how-to pdf file he created to start off with this build.

Pac-Man Pipes to be Used for “Legal Purposes Only”

The guys selling these Pac-Man glass pipes have them listed as a “flo new art glass borosilicate pyrex glass PAC-MAN scene landscape video game 420 high score spoon pipe heady 420″, which certainly could be used for legitimate purposes – like for smoking small pieces of meat. But no matter what you decide to use it for, you should definitely stop if you start to see blue ghosts floating around the room.

The “high” score of 420 on this handmade glass vessel is an especially nice touch. For those of you not in the know, 4:20 is the time of day when I usually like to take a nap. And if that isn’t enough, there’s also a glow-in-the-dark version too. Whoa. Like, whoooaaaaa.

Keep in mind that in purchasing these pipes you agree to “use the products… for legal purposes only.” So be sure to invite a lawyer or two over to your next shindig.

Lightpipe is a Pipe-Shaped Light

The Lightpipe is a supercool light that looks like an industrial pipe.

I love how they’ve photographed it next to “real” pipes, but on the flip side it makes it a bit difficult to imagine what it might look like, say, in one’s own living room. I mean, this would be a lot easier to work with if I was like Jennifer Beals in Flashdance and went home after my welding job every day to unwind by dancing around in my grungy converted factory floor apartment, you know what I’m saying? But I digress. The detailing on this light is terrific and adds to the overall pipey realism.

You can buy one for €395 (Appx. $612 USD) from DaWanda. Finding an industrial warehouse in which to showcase this unusual light will be completely up to you, though.
