The pizza even has pepperoni on it – which I officially dub “tricera-toppings.” This is everything that you have been searching for in your quest for the ultimate necklace. This is an antique gold finish dinosaur necklace eating a pizza. My mind is blown.

It comes on a 24″ chain and you can also get it in silver. The Pizzasaurus necklace is just $144 (USD) from Snash Jewelry over on Etsy. Get it before it becomes extinct. Imagine eating pizza while you wear this. You will blow people’s minds. The awesomeness is off the charts here people.

Imagine getting stuck in some insane traffic on the way home. As you’re making one final left, you hear something that goes “Mmm… Tasty!” to your right as a Domino’s Pizza scooter pushes past you. What do you think you’ll be craving for dinner?

This is what Domino’s is doing in Amsterdam, although instead of “tasty”, their scooters actually say “lekker” (which means the same thing in English.) They also make funny human-made engine noises despite the fact that they’re electric.

The kooky campaign was thought up by Indie Amsterdam.

I don’t know who the guy or gal over at Red Tomato Pizza corporate headquarters who came up with idea for this magnet is, but this person deserves a spot on the Board of Directors. Red Tomato Pizza has possibly the most awesome use of Bluetooth technology ever. This little magnet looks like a pizza box and when you flip up the top and press the button a fresh hot pizza is baked up and sent out without you having to do anything else.

That is so awesome. When you first get the sweet little magnet; you have to pair it to your mobile phone. After the pairing process is complete, you go to the pizza joints website and pick your favorite pie. Once that’s done you fancy magnet is ready to use.

All you have to do is walk up and push that magnet button and your pizza will be there before you know it. The downside is that I can totally see my kids pressing the pizza button on a whim and ordering up a pizza every five minutes. If you live in place where there tends to be a lot of drunkards about you will likely run into a similar issue, so you may want to hide your magnet.

The downside is that this fancy magnet is only available in Dubai. I hope this device is offered from all pizza places really soon.

Pizza is the stuff of legends. Geeks all around the world could probably live off nothing more than pizza, beer, and a few high caffeine soft drinks if they had to. The problem with eating pizza at your computer though is that your fingers get greasy. That means each time you click away at the keys, you leave greasy little fingerprints behind, which is gross.

If you leave too my fingerprints behind, the keyboard eventually ends up smelling like pepperoni pizza, too. As cool as that sounds, any ladies you may lure into your lair probably won’t care for the smell. Therefore, it’s probably best to try to keep as much pizza grease off your computer that you can. This is where the awesome Paper Dish concept comes in.

Designed by Yu Kyung Ha, Won Min Jung & Kwon Young Hee, (yes it took four people to come up with this) the Paper Dish is an under-layer that you place a pizza on top of inside the box. Each slice has a little flap on top. The idea is when you reach in to grab the pizza on the top using your thumb and the bottom with your other fingers, the top flap and paper underneath keep your hands nice and grease free. The only trick is how they could get the pizza sliced and lined up onto the sections, but I’m sure they could sort that part out. They also should think about making the dish part even smaller, only surrounding the crust of the pizza, so you don’t end up chewing on paper.

I think this could be the best thing to happen to pizza since someone came up with the idea of bringing the pizza to me rather than me going to the pizza. One of the major pizza restaurants needs to buy this concept and refine it ASAP.

We didn’t really go on a lot of camping trips when me and my siblings were still kids. But that’s probably because we were all girls and were a handful to deal with. That, and we weren’t really huge fans of insects or of the great outdoors.

I think me and my sisters would have thought differently though, if my dad told us we’d be sleeping in a giant pizza inside our tent. Not a real one, of course, because that would just be gross – but this Slice of Pizza Sleeping Bag instead.

This comfortable sleeping bag looks like your basic slice of pizza with tomato sauce and some vegetarian toppings. Personally, I prefer white sauce pizzas, but this will have to do. The coolest thing about it is probably the toppings. If you haven’t guessed already, they aren’t just there for decoration because they’re actually pillows. I don’t think I’d like any broccoli on my pizza though, but olives, mushrooms, and pepperoni? Count me in.

These delicious slices of stuffed sleeping goodness are handmade and customized by Brook of B Fiber and Crafts and are available for $250(USD). Extra toppings as pillows cost an additional $20 each, while sown-on toppings are priced at $10 each.

Now excuse me while I go call and have a box of pizza delivered…

Domino’s Pizza wants to make ordering pizza more fun, so they have created an iPad app called Domino’s Pizza Hero. The app lets you build your pizza from the dough up and include your own custom toppings. You make your virtual pizza, then order it up for delivery.

Go ahead and knead that dough, put whatever toppings on you like, and put it into the oven. It’s kind of a game, sure, but anything that helps to streamline my pizza ordering is a good thing. Pizza is serious business to a hungry geek.

Click to View Embedded Video Clip

The game portion of the app is all about how quickly you can make your pizzas and there are 6 levels. This sounds like a great marketing tool for the company, but some of us would prefer it if Domino’s stopped avoiding it and brought back the Noid.

Click to View Embedded Video Clip

You can grab Dominos Pizza Hero over at the iTunes App Store for free.

If the prophet Matt Groening is to be believed – and why the hell not – in the future there will be an amusement park on the Moon. Also it will be ruled by the head of Al Gore. But the Japanese arm (tentacle?) of the popular pizza chain Domino’s also wants us to believe that they’ll have a branch on the moon and that they’ll be the first pizza chain to do so. They even have drawings to prove how serious they are!

Apparently, Domino’s is trying to one-up their rival Pizza Hut, who in 2001 paid the Russian space agency to deliver a batch of their pepperoni pizzas to cosmonauts in space. Delivering pizzas to space is one thing. Building, running and maintaining a four story building on the moon is something else entirely. Why not shoot for Antarctica instead? At least you’re sure there are customers there willing to wrestle a polar bear for some hot pizza. Yet here’s the president of Domino’s Japan presenting their <del>daydream</del> idea himself:

Click to View Embedded Video Clip

According to The Telegraph, a Japanese construction firm is “coming up with a plan”, which will involve sending 70 tons of material to space on 15 rockets, at an estimated cost of ¥1.67 trillion (~$21.70 billion USD). Here’s an awesome quote from a Domino’s Japan spokesman obtained by The Telegraph: “We started thinking about this project last year, although we have not yet determined when the restaurant might open.”

This just in: Technabob has announced that we will be the first blog to have a writer assigned to the sun. We will be discussing our plans with a very imaginative 6-year old, and we think we’ll need about 749 tons of stuff, which will be spent to space via the rockets that Domino’s will use to send their stuff to the moon, thereby reducing our cost estimates to about $5 trillion. We started thinking about this project just now, although we have not yet determined when the writer will be sent. We will be drawing straws to determine who gets the honor of representing our blog. In the meantime, you can check out Domino’s Japan’s website for their moon branch drawings.

It’s five-year mission, to explore new sauces, to seek out new cheese and meat combinations, to boldly cut deep dish where no man has before.

The blade is crafted from laser-etched stainless steel, and the body is made from a durable zinc-alloy chromium plate. but who are you kidding. You’d buy this thing if it were made from the lid of an old tin can and an old corkscrew.

I know that Halloween’s still more than a month away, but after seeing the awesomely cute Barf Vader, I decided to do a thorough research on – okay I hit Amazon. and Etsy. More on that later; let’s just say that most of the costumes will make your spawn ten times more adorable, while some will probably cause your child to hate you when he or she grows up and sees your old Halloween pictures. In honor of Barf Vader, let’s start with the Darth Vader costume, which sells for $20 to $33 (USD) (price depends on size).

If little Anakin was wearing that when Qui-Gon Jinn met him, I’m sure the Jedi Master would’ve iced the Naboo slave on the spot. Or not. The costume is cute after all. But what if your kid is a little older, and really wants a taste of the Dark Side? Etsy seller katesy has got just the thing. Give her your child’s measurements (your child’s sir, not yours) and $200, and she’ll whip up this…this…thing.

The picture reminds me of this joke I read somewhere: dad buys his son a Darth Vader mask, son wears it and goes, “Daddy, I am your father.” Anyway. We have to call on Yoda to defeat this Crocs-wearing Sith Lord!

FORCE SMILE! It works all the time. The Yoda costume is also available at Amazon for $22. But what about your little girl? Dress her up in this Princess Leia Costume. It sells for $19 to $28. Cinnamon roll hair included.

If on the other hand you think your kid will grow up to be a robot enthusiast, you might want to get the $20 R2-D2 Costume. Actually don’t. I only included it here for the sake of completion; I’m sure you can come up with something better than this.

What about for parents who hate their kids? I’ve got something for you as well: for only $20 to $37, the Chewbacca costume will ensure that your kid will have no treats – or friends – come Halloween. Your kid will look like Ultimate Warrior dunked in poo.

What if you want to eat your kid? Two words: Pizza Baby.

I’m not really that big of a Star Wars fan though, so I don’t which Episode Pizza Baby appeared. Was Pizza Baby in the Cantina scene?

Who wants to stop playing long enough to pick up their mobile phone? Or worse–the horror–what if you have to get up? What a world this must be, if we have to get off the sofa just to order pizza. Well, folks, no longer are we reduced to such barbaric circumstances… at least, not if you own a PlayStation 3.

At least until September 27th, PS3 owners will be able to order Papa John’s pizza without having to do anything complicated, like move, or even navigate all the way to the PS3 browser. Web browsers and typing… that’s all for the plebeians.

Of course, this special promotion only means that a button has been added to to the system browser. At any time, PS3 owners are free to open up the browser and order anything from pizza to delivery Chinese… but it takes so much effort. What if I only want to move my thumb a few times?

If you, too, have a heavy thumb, opt in for the pizza deals before the 27th. You might even get that free Cinnapie, which will certainly help invigorate your mind and body.

The Porta-Pizza oven could be just what the doctor ordered. This 12-volt pizza oven looks almost like an April Fools prank from The Onion, but it’s real. Now I’d be afraid that I’d kill my car battery with the amount of power you’d need to cook pizza, but what the heck do I know? And what’s to stop you from making toast in your front seat with this? Yay, toast on the go! Just plug it into your 12-volt accessory outlet, add your ingredients and get cookin’!

Now I thought people texting and driving were bad, but I bet dropping a scorching hot slice of melty mozzarella and pepperoni onto your lap is sure to get you into an accident or two.

This Stupidiotic invention is available from Stupidiotic for $36 (USD). I wonder if this is how Domino’s plans on reviving their 30-minutes or less promise now…

Italian pizzerias are outraged at the Let’s Pizza vending machine, due to be released in Italy this summer. Let’s Pizza apparently does to pizza what Nissin did to noodles: make it possible to enjoy one in 3 minutes. The machine doesn’t just heat frozen pizza; it actually serves freshly-made pizza. And at €3.50 ($4.76 USD), it’s also half the price of old-fashioned restaurant pizza. The kicker? It was invented by an Italian. Ouch.

Inventor Claudio Torghele (not sure if he’s the guy in the pic) says that he got the idea ten years ago while he was working in – drum roll please – the United States, in California to be precise: “At food courts I saw a trend toward vending machines.” I’m wondering why he didn’t choose to put up the machines in the US rather than earning the ire of his countrymen.

Let’s Pizza offers four kinds of toppings: tomato and cheese, vegetables, ham, and bacon. After a topping is selected, the machine mixes flour and water into a drum. The drum spins to form a lump of dough that is then pressed to form a 12-inch disk. A squirt of tomato here, a sprinkle of cheese there, some… other stuff, and then it’s baked in an infrared oven. The finished product is then placed into a cardboard tray.

Pino Morelli, head of the Association of Italian Pizzerias, is insulted that such a device will soon co-exist with local pizzerias: “It might be alright for McDonalds and other fast-food chains or for foreign markets like the US, China and India but anyone wanting to eat a real pizza has to go to a traditional pizzeria.” He’s not pissed off because there’s a new competitor in town – and I also think that fast food has a long way to go before it can be as delicious as restaurant/homemade food – he’s concerned that the machine might give pizza and Italy a bad name: “The pizza is the symbol of the ‘Made in Italy’ brand and we should let it live and prosper in peace.”

Would you buy instant pizza? Or will you let pizzas live and prosper in peace? Before reading this article were you aware that pizzas are alive?
