He has nice long arms and legs and looks like he might actually be climbing through some trees with his Wookiee family on Kashyyyk. Now, I’m not saying that Chewie is lazy (I don’t want him pulling my arm out of it’s socket, after all), but this one also looks a lot like a sloth. I guess that’s what makes him so adorable.

Sadly, you can’t buy this one right now. Hopefully, maker Denn Rodriguez will create more of this guy for her Etsy shop. He sure does look soft and cuddly. If all Wookies looked like this, no being in the Star Wars universe would be scared of them.

This plush Koopa shell backpack is awesome. It measures about 16-inches in diameter, and turns you into a Koopa in like two seconds. Of course you run the risk of people jumping on you and tossing you across the room, but still, it’s a great way to carry your stuff.

You might be tempted to walk really slow back and forth like a Zombie with a shell, or feel the urge to go all Hammer Bros. on someone and bar people’s path even, but I say as long as you look the part, go for it. Just don’t be surprised when a plumber jumps on you and your shell goes flying.

What we need for those pillow fights is these plush weapons by Bryan Ku to make things more realistic. They’re made out of everyday fabric and stuffing with different weapons like a grenade, ninja star, axe, cutlass, and even a lightsaber silkscreened onto them.

I am really digging the lightsaber and the nunchucks. Though I wonder if that long and thin lightsaber has enough rigidity to be effective in a pillow fight. I’d stick with the nunchucks and go all Bruce Lee on my opponents.

Each one of these plush toys measures about 6 inches across, and will look great scattered across your couch like the aftermath of the battle on Hoth. These pillows are made by JezebelRose and you can have your own for $150, which is expensive, but they take between 3 to 6 weeks to complete, so you’re getting your money’s worth. These proton packs are made to order, so you’ll probably be the only one that has one on your block. With a few friends, you can probably assemble your own Ghostbusters squad.

The trap doesn’t come with the proton pack, so you’ll have to get that separately here for $40. All in all, these are the best (the only?) Ghostbusters-themed pillows I’ve ever seen.

The developer behind the game, ZeptoLab, has announced that a full line of plush toys will be coming out that looks like the game’s little monster hero Om Nom. The green plush toys will be in different sizes and will have the different facial expressions that Om Nom uses throughout the game.

The developer is also on hand at Comic-Con this week for another interesting announcement. The company has teamed up with Ape Entertainment to create a digital comic strip based on the game. The comics will tell the story of Om Nom before the game. The comics will be distributed through a standalone app that will hit the App Store in late August. There is no word on if the comic app will come to other platforms down the road, but I bet it will come to Android.

Despite having no idea who Solid Snake was, Crafter averyg ended up having to make a plush Snake for Craftster’s Poppet Mini Swap (yes that’s “poppet”, not “puppet”), in which crafters have to make a requested doll for their swap partner.

Other than the giant head and lack of a nose or mouth, the felt and pipecleaner version of Snake is a dead ringer for Hideo Kojima’s Snake. Although I’m not quite sure about the eyes either. I’m pretty sure that when the government wanted to create the perfect soldier, they weren’t thinking about his eyelashes.

You can get the lens cushions from a company called Plushtography. They are made from fleece material and felt. I suspect that felt would be as itchy as a pillow made from cat hair. The pillows come in three different versions including the Canon 24-105mm pillow that is the largest one available. The other two are smaller and designed to look like a Nikon 35mm f/1.8 lens and a Canon 50mm f/1.8 lens.

All of the little plush birdies and pigs were made for her son, and are filled with a mix of rice and polyfil so they’re heavy enough to actually shoot with a slingshot using these and a bunch of pigs placed amongst some wood blocks. She doesn’t mention if the black ones actually explode or if the weird looking ones are tiny boomerangs, but I’m going to guess no.

All tolled, she made a dozen of the birds and six pigs, and most of them are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand.

She doesn’t say, but I bet that little red one is completely useless just like the one in the game. At least she made one of the big fat red guys too. At least those ones are good for something.

If you’ve ever played any table top RPGs, you’ve probably heard of the Cthulhu Mythos. It was one of the first systems that made it fun to go just plain bonkers. The trick of the game was to just remain sane enough to play.
