Check out the blog to see the original picture and to download the high-res pdf version. Work long and proper. Properly? Dammit.

Do you tend to hunch over whenever you’re working at your computer? This oddity from Japan is designed to help correct this bad behavior by serving up an alert if you’re sitting (or standing?) improperly.

All I know is that you wear it around your neck, and when you start to slouch, it’ll correct you with an audible alarm. Why it looks like a bird is anyone’s guess, and I’m just as confused by the Manga girl in the sailor costume on the box.

It’s also got an alarm clock built in, presumably to remind you to take this silly thing off your neck before anyone sees you wearing it.

Compounding the weirdness factor is the $8.43 price tag that DealExtreme has set for this strange gadget.
