The installation itself features the head of the red Angry Bird. The bird is made of crimson-tinted piggy banks that have been arranged in a latticework to flesh out the bird. He must sure love playing Angry Birds if that’s the installation that’s featured outside his campaign office.

I wonder what his opponents will think of next. Probably a bunch of green piggies made from cans, or something along those lines.

The big shocker is the price, you can buy a very nice new car for the price of one of these Epic cameras – but they’re still cheaper than high-end 35mm and 70mm cameras. I like RC toys as much as the next guy, but I would never fly the creation the folks at OMStudios in Germany have put together. The system is an octocopter with eight little motors and propellers arrayed around a horseshoe underneath the copter.

Inside that big horseshoe shaped opening sits one of the crazy expensive RED Epic cameras. The copter can fly up to 150 meters in altitude and record in shocking clarity. I would rather not think of the repair bill if you crashed this awesome RC toy.

It launches alongside the new Star Fox 64 3D game and will be available for the new $169.99 (USD) price point, which has already gone into effect. This way you have a cool new game to buy with that flaming red portable.

The big N hopes that the new price and this color offering will increase sales beyond the 830,000 3DS units already sold in the U.S. since its launch. Mario fans certainly have a reason to lay down the cash since Super Mario Land 3D will be arriving in November and Mario Kart 7 is coming in December. It’s a good time to be a Nintendo fanboy/girl. These LED lights can double as night lights as well. While they can’t run off magic, they do use battery-power or USB-power to make them light up. Just make sure that no one tries to eat these, or they’ll be in for a nasty stomach ache.

We already know that with the massive success that Avatar was worldwide the stage is set for a new flick in the franchise. These are no normal cameras. RED EPIC-M cameras are packed with tech and possibly the best-looking cameras on the planet with a very industrial design and an astounding 5K image resolution.

How much would 50 of the cameras cost? Some reports peg the number at close to $3 million. That is a drop in the massive bucket that is the budget for a blockbuster film like Avatar. Of course, the project could be unrelated to Avatar; about the only thing off the table is a sequel to Titanic.

You will be able to grab the red Wii that celebrates 25 years of Mario for $199.99 (USD). That much green will get you a glossy red Wii, matching Wii Remote Plus, a copy of the Super Mario Bros. Wii game, Wii Sports, and a matching red Wii Nunchuk. The console will only be offered while supplies last and will land on November 7.

Along with that red Wii will be a red DSi XL with Mario graphics, a copy of Mario Kart DS, and a Brain Age title pre-loaded. That DSi XL bundle is going to sell for $179.99. I like the red console; I wonder why the Wii doesn’t get some Mario graphics on it. If we are going to celebrate, let’s do it in style.

The special edition red Wii is designed in celebration of Mario’s 25th anniversary, and includes one of the new WiiRemote Plus controllers (the ones with the built-in WiiMotion Plus), also in glorious Mario red.

Modder Tjpitbull decked out his 360 with a complete Left 4 Dead inspired look, covering the entire case with a distressed military green paintjob on both the console and controller. And you see that giant cutout “4″ from the game’s logo? It’s backlit with bright blood red LEDs when the lights go down – and the most appropriate Red Rings of Death you’ll ever see.

Actually, that’s Mr. Pac-Man to you, sir. This over-the-top red and yellow 1996 Chrevrolet Caprice is decked out with custom Pac-Man leather seats.

And check out those rims… Mr. Pac-Man is hiding behind the chrome wheels, showing his face over and over again as the wheels turn.

Gotcha! This relic from 1980 wasn’t made by Apple at all. In fact the first MAC was made by a little company called Entex Electronics. Upon further inspection of the photos, it looks like this wasn’t just the first MAC, it was the first MAC Mini!

Best of all, you can get your hands on this rare early MAC. It’s currently up for bid on eBay, with a starting price of just 99 cents! For some reason, I think the asking price just went up.

This incredibly lo-fi SatanVision television set was designed by David Forbes. It’s outputs of an unbelievably crappy 128×96 resolution image, and all of the pixels are red. Here it is playing the only video game they have in the underworld, Pong. Oh, and they only have one paddle down there, too.

And thanks to the low wattage red LEDs, it’s virtually useless in the daylight. Good thing that there is no daylight in hell.

All kidding aside, it took David months and over $1000 of his hard-earned dough (and an entire roll of duct tape) to build this intentionally crummy display. To pull it off, he built out an array of 8×8 LED panels he found over on eBay, and then built a custom controller circuit which converts the television signal into something you can display on the LEDs.

Designed by Germany’s hansandfranz for Macrolux, the Supercool lamp features a dynamic, adjustable structure that lets it fit just about anywhere. The structure of each Supercool lamp is based on a telescoping aluminum pole that can be set to a wide variety of heights and angles with ease.

Not only can you adjust the height and move the lighting bar up and down the pole, but you can rotate the lighting reflector a full 360-degrees. And thanks to a bright grid of LEDs, these lights cast a wonderful modern accent on your walls, while requiring little power and never needing their bulbs to be changed.

No word on pricing, but like most uber-modern lighting fixtures, I’m going to guess they’re not cheap. You can find more information on the Supercool lamps over at MacroLux.

The new DSi is decked out in red, which is nice, but not a patch on this sexy black Wii.

While the matte surface is much more practical for a handheld, it just isn’t as slick as the shine on that Wii. Of course, they never look like that in my house. Five minutes here and it’s probably been colored on by sticky little hands.

No announcements yet for release of these colors outside of Japan, but it’s likely they, or other shades, will soon make the leap.

BrionVega’s RR227 is a modern-day update of Marco Zanuso and Richard Sapper’s classic RR127 radio, which they created over 44 years ago. The updated model comes with AM and FM radio tuners, and the ability to play MP3 or WMA digital audio files. Just drop an SD card into the slot and connect your computer via USB to load it up with your tunes. There’s also an AUX jack for connecting your iPod or other media player too.

The RR227 features a unique design that lets you place it either horizontally or vertically and still make sense out of the tuning dial. The radio comes in white, black or red ABS plastic, making it both lightweight and sturdy. Sound is provided by a 3-watt amp, and there’s a headphone jack for listening to the radio in seclusion. While the radio comes with an AC power pack that probably won’t work in the U.S. without an adapter, you’ll be happy to know it runs on batteries too.

While I first found the RR227 over at French retailer Singulier for €199 (appx. $262 USD), you can also find them over on eBay Italy for around €150 (appx. $196 USD) with a little digging.

It will probably look a lot like this, except that there will be a console somewhere, too. Or maybe the set will feature a darker, bloodier sort of red. Either way, the infamous Red Ring of Death will look really nice on your new Xbox 360!

Better than this bundle? Some would say so, while others would prefer that messenger bag. Odds are you already have an Xbox if you’re scoping out Resident Evil 5, after all. Of course, it’s probably not red.

If it pans out, the rumored console bundle will include a copy of Resident Evil 5, a red Xbox 360 console, a single matching controller, an exclusive Resident Evil 5 theme for the New Xbox Experience, and a coupon inviting purchasers to download Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix to that sweet new ‘Box for free. Resident Evil 5 is set for release in March, and you’ll even be able to buy just the game if you’re not in the market for a bunch of extra stuff.

The STORM Faze watch features a unique dot-matrix LED display, concealed behind a plastic lens that sort of reminds me of the compound eye of an insect. Or maybe one of those dotty color-blindness tests. Either way, it’s bumpy and cool.

When you’re ready to run out to your garage Bat-Cave for some crime-fighting action, dash on over to this replica of Bruce Wayne’s famous Shakespeare bust, flip open his lid, and activate the switch inside to activate the door to your secret Bat-cave. What, you don’t have a secret door? Then maybe you can plug it into a set of Christmas lights, or maybe your stereo so they turn on when you activate the remote power outlet that’s connected to the Bard’s bust.
