One of the things that’s pretty hard to do while you’re getting your hair cut is check for the time. You can’t just glance at your watch or check your phone for the time, not with your arms under that cape thing they put around you to keep the hair away.

One thing I resort to is glancing at the reflection of the clock in the mirror, if I’m really pressed for time. It’s not the easiest (or hardest) thing to do, and that’s probably what the folks over at Cybermoon were thinking when they came up with this clock that not only has a backwards display, it actually runs backwards too.

People who try to read the time by looking at the clock directly might have some difficulty doing so, but not when you’re the man (or woman) in front of the mirror.

These Barbershop Mirror Clocks go for $27 (USD) over at Cybermoon’s shop at Etsy.

Here’s a great way to help chill out the next time you’re feeling stressed out.

Created by Japan’s I Love New Yoku, the Projector Pot (Relaxing Ocean) transports you to the open seas any time you dim the lights. Just set the Projector Pot on any surface, power it on, and turn down your lights. The 4-inch cube has a bright battery-powered LED light source that casts moving patterns that are reminiscent of water reflections off the top of a body of water.

Now the bad part is that unless you live in Japan, you’ll have to wait to relax. At this point, the Projector Pot is only available in its native land (priced at ¥3990 – appx $40 USD). I’m hopeful that the guys over at Audiocubes will bring these into the States, as they’re already importing other goodies from the same company. For the time being, you’ll just have to go to the real ocean.
