Bluetooth Rearview Mirror is an Accident Waiting to Happen

I think people have enough driving distractions already, with all the gadgets and monitors and screens on every car’s dashboard these days. But the people behind the Bluetooth Rearview Mirror want to add another one with their all-in-one rearview mirror.

This Bluetooth Rearview Mirror Kit is available from Chinavasion for around $200 (USD). It seems like a pretty hefty price to pay for a rearview mirror, but that’s because (and I’m just stating the obvious here) it’s not just an ordinary rearview mirror.

In fact, it’s a touchscreen GPS, DVR, wireless camera, media and game player rolled into one pretty package.

Aside from that, it’s also a hands-free speakerphone and a wireless rearview parking camera to help you ease into those hard-to-park areas.

So really, what more can you ask for in a rearview mirror? With this baby, you can navigate through tight roads, listen to your favorite tunes, catch a quick flick in traffic, play a few games when you’re bored, and even use it to speak to the 911 operator when you’ve driven yourself into a ditch by the road because of previously-mentioned activities.

$9 Million iPhone 4s Smartphone: For Those Who Aren’t Very Smart with Their Money

If you ever feel the need to blow millions of dollars on a device that will become obsolete in a few years (okay, not really obsolete, but with the way companies are releasing new, upgraded versions of phones all the time, well, you never know), then listen up.

Stuart Hughes, a site that sells extreme luxury items from mobile phones to furniture to homes and liquor, is now peddling the world’s most expensive smartphone at £6,000,000 (or about $9.4 million.) The easiest way to raise the value of a seemingly ordinary object is to dip it in 24-karat gold, stick more than 500 flawless diamonds on it, then store it inside of a solid platinum chest encrusted with rare gems and tiny chunks of bones from T-Rex (I’m serious, that’s what the product page says) and sell it.

And that’s not the only insanely expensive Apple device that Stuart Hughes has in store. He also has a £5,000,000 ($7.8 million) iPad 2 up for sale on the site that has a frame made from “the oldest rock the world has to offer,” Ammolite.

Fantastic sales talk, but I wonder if anyone’s ever going to fork over that much money for a device that retails for less than a thousand dollars? Hopefully, it’s at least the 3G model.

Oh, Brando. How we love your never-ending warehouse full of weird, wacky and often unnecessary Chinese gadgets. So why wouldn’t we be expecting this giant-sized USB mouse would eventually make its way to your shelves? It was inevitable.

This oversize USB mouse is so big, that it requires the entire expanse of your grip to move it around. I’m not sure where I’d find the room on my desktop to cram this thing in.

If you have any doubt about just how large this thing is, just think about the specs. At 175mm long (~6.88″), 105mm (~4.13″) wide and 55mm (~2.16″) tall, this thing could eat your current mouse for breakfast, then swallow 3 or 4 more mice for dessert.

If having a giant-sized USB mouse sitting on your desktop wasn’t distracting enough, this whopper of a mouse also includes a built-in LED light show. It’s like a disco on your desk.

If I hadn’t seen this with my own two eyes, I would have thought this was a product from a fake commercial on SNL…
