Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma Turn Up On Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition

If you saw the trailer for Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition that was released last year, then you already know that Evil Ryu and Oni Akuma will be playable characters in the game. Now we finally get a glimpse of said characters in action, thanks to arcade junkies who take videos of the game in action.

Damn, Oni Akuma’s aerial Raging Demon looks bad ass. I’m pretty sure these two evil monsters will find their way into the console versions as DLC.

Wireless Xbox 360 Arcade Joysticks for Pulling Off Your Ultimate Combo Moves

These arcade joysticks don’t just look gorgeous, they’re actually only one of two wireless arcade sticks I’ve ever seen for the Xbox 360 (the only other one I’m aware of is Dream Arcade’s new Dream Stick).

Handmade by Mekishiko916 of GangsterGamer, each controller features American HAPP arcade hardware, including a hefty joystick, and the 6-button layout you’d find on an old Street Fighter 2 arcade game. As a matter of fact, Mekishiko precisely measured the position of the buttons on the original arcade machine, and cut each hole to match that exact spec.

Each one is built into a sturdy aluminum case with rubber feet and a Plexiglas protective layer over a Street Fighter-inspired graphic. The controller has a built-in rechargeable battery pack that can be charged up via your Xbox 360′s USB port. Look ma, no wires!

Currently available in both Ryu (pictured top) and Akuma (pictured bottom), the Xbox 360 wireless controllers are available over on Mekishiko’s Etsy shop for $190 (USD) each.

So you’re the Hadouken master in Street Fighter IV. Yeah, that used to mean something, but now, friends, you’re second tier. You’ve been kicked off the hill. Until you can throw down a little mood music on the piano with a flurry of buttons, you’re just small potatoes.

Looks like this super-excellent shirt is finally in production at Threadless, and has even been (color) corrected from the canonical problems noticed by a reader when we posted it before. The build-up in this shirt is as absurd as a David Foster Wallace sentence. Why make a small joke when instead you can go for something long, epic, and completely ridiculous? Love it. The candelabra is a nice touch.
