Got the winter blues? Well, these so-called “reverse sunglasses,” which are definitely not for vampires, are designed to help you to fight seasonal affective disorder (SAD). With snow coming down on a lot of people in the world right now, this might be the way to keep yourself out of the moody blues.

The SEQINETIC reverse sunglasses were designed and created by a gang of mechanical engineers from Copenhagen. Compared to coffee and sugar, the reverse sunglasses offer a calorie-free way to beat the winter blues. They offer bright, white daylight in a portable form factor. The glasses feature 6 powerful LEDs and a reflector, which pushes diffuse, simulated sunlight towards your eyeballs. The reflector is said to be brighter at the top than at the bottom, much like the way you might view the Sun, and you can still view items underneath the reflector if you need to.

In order get the glasses, you’ll need to pledge $55 (USD). Once the project is funded to its $8,000 goal, the glasses will sell for $80.

Her series of paintings of Depressed Superheroes are available as prints from Eyes on Walls.

Admittedly, it doesn’t always go well for superheroes, especially when they get made into movies. One bad movie can destroy years of great storylines in comics (i.e. Green Lantern.) Still, I doubt that The Dark Knight has got anything to worry about – at least not since Batman & Robin.

There are a total of 4 prints available, showing The Flash, Batman, Robin, and Superman (all DC superheroes). They are available as limited edition prints only and sell for $50 over at Eyes on Walls. I wonder if she’ll tackle any Marvel superheroes next.

From his earliest garage innovations to the multi-billion dollar juggernauts of Apple and Pixar, Steve always brought joy to our hearts and minds. We here at Technabob send our sincerest condolences to Steve’s family. He was a great man taken from us way too soon.

No one wants monotony. And if the monotonous thing happens to be necessary to survive, then you come to hate it even more. Because if you could escape it altogether anytime you wanted you wouldn’t have any reason to hate it. What am I talking about? You like games right? Let Paolo Pedercini and his game, Everyday the same dream, walk you through a semi-literal representation of urban adult life.

The puzzler isn’t exactly life-changing, but in my opinion it accurately captures the whole tone of this ridiculous routine that is urban adulthood. Trust me, your desire to help the protagonist will be freaking genuine. Playing this game made me think back to the final days of high school and later on, college, moments when I was inclined (or forced) to think of what I’ll be doing when I got out of school.

Musician, writer, bum, anything but the office. Anything but the office. Turns out that whatever path you choose, the monotony will kick in sooner or later. Sooner or later. I blame the game for making me say those things. Go play it and ruin someone else’s day.

The last thing you ever want to see on your good old iPod is the sad iPod icon. This usually tells of some sort of nasty failure of your iPod’s software or hardware, and is often a sign that you’ll soon be heading out to the Apple Store to pick up a brand new iPhone or iPod Touch. So I find it amusing that anyone would want to immortalize their sad iPod as a piece of art.

But that’s exactly what craftster contributor benjibot decided to do with this wacky sad iPod cross-stitch. Apparently, benjibot’s 4G iPod finally kicked the bucket a few days back, and served as inspiration for his design.

I guess you could think of the cloth like a mini-memorial to the deceased media player, to be laid over a tiny cardboard casket before it’s lowered into its final resting place in the dumpster.
