For just $1299, you’ll get a good deal on the 46-inch Sony Bravia KDL-46S4100, plus you’ll get the 19-inch Bravia KDL-19M4000/S thrown in (via a $499 instant savings on the bundle). The KDL-46S4100 is a highly rated flat screen LCD with full 1080p resolution, while the 19-inch silver-bezeled LCD TV normally retails for $499, and displays 720p images (upscaled onto a 1440 x 900 display). The KDL-19M4000/S isn’t too shabby if you’re looking for an extra set for your office, kitchen or a bedroom and is a great bonus if you were already in the market for a large LCD for your living room.

If you’re looking for a mid-priced digital camera, you should check out Amazon’s Gold Box for today, because they’re cutting $500 bucks or a whopping 56% off the list price of the Sigma DP1, selling the 14 megapixel camera for only $399 (USD). Amazon’s gone insane, and you should capitalize before they come to their senses.

The DP1 is a compact digital camera that features a 14-megapixel optical sensor powered by Foveon CMOS technology, a pop-up flash and a 2.5-in LCD viewing screen. Go to Sigma’s DP1 website or Digital Photography Review’s article on the DP1 and see if it’s the right camera for you. But be quick about it if you want to save $500 – these surely won’t last long.

According to this ad circular that’s floating around the web, your friendly neighborhood Wal-Mart will be flooding the market with super discounted Toshiba high definition DVD players.

After dropping the price on Toshiba’s HD-A2 HD DVD player to $199, there’s now an ad that shows an unbelievable price of $98.87. I’m sure this is a loss-leader for Wally World, but it’s still but it’s a clear sign that the HD DVD camp means business. As far as I know, the sale is a one-day only deal for this Friday (November 2, 2007 starting at 8am), but I wouldn’t doubt that the regular retail price for these players drops close to this level as the holidays approach.

With the cheapest Blu-Ray players running around $400 (on sale), these kind of aggressive discounts will help HD DVD gain ground on what was a losing battle up until now.

While those of us who played the supremely awesome Bioshock demo are salivating to get our hands on the full game, a few lucky stiffs have been able to pick up copies of the game a full week ahead of its 8/21 release date. Apparently, some <strike>bozos</strike> really intelligent individuals working behind the counter at Toys ‘R Us didn’t bother to check the release date, and are selling them since they already have the game in the stock room at some locations.

Several posters over on the NeoGAF forums are already reporting that they have the highly anticipated Xbox 360 FPS+ in hand. Apparently, all they needed to do was ask the sales clerks if they had Bioshock in stock, and they were sold the game. So run, don’t walk to your neighborhood Toys ‘R Us store before the Microsoft and TRU suits get wind of this and shut down the pipeline.

While Sceptre isn’t necessarily as well known as brands like Sony and Samsung, they do actually make pretty decent HDTVs. That said, if you’re looking for an bargain-priced way to break into the high-def big screen world, check out this limited time deal from Costco.

The Sceptre 46-inch 1080p widescreen LCD set is now on sale for just $1299.99 (after a $300 rebate.) The set offers full 1920 x 1080 native pixel resolution and supports true 1080p input signals. Contrast ratio is a solid 8,000 to 1, which is pretty good as LCDs go.

I also like that they didn’t skimp on inputs, even though the price is low. Sceptre includes 3 HDMI ports, as well as 2 Component and 2 Composite/S-video inputs too. There’s also a VGA input for hooking up a PC. The set also offers four built-in speakers, and SRS TruSurround XT audio enhancement.

This special offer is only valid through August 12, 2007, so if you’re interested in taking advantage of it, hop on over to the Costco website now.

From the looks of this post up on Digg, a certain bullseye-wearing big box retailer has accidentally let loose the new Xbox 360 Elite model a couple of weeks early.

The new model is slated for release on April 29th, but at least one branch of Target (in Chico, California) has sold this one to a lucky buyer. The receipt shows a purchase price of 479.99, and it sure looks like the authentic box art.

That said, it could still be a quality Photoshop job, so you be the judge.

[UPDATE: Xbox 360 Fanboy has pointed out that this particular system is for sale over on eBay, starting at $600. Many more pics, including the serial number label are on display there.]

The Tower Records website is offering an amazing deal on all video games at the moment. Until January 22nd, 2007, all video games, cds, dvds, books and accessories on the site are 25% off.

A cursory check of the site turned up recent titles like Lost Planet, Resistance: Fall of Man, and Gears of War for just $44.99 each.

Tower has been racked with financial woes in recent years and appears to be liquidating what inventory they currently have on hand. Better take advantage of this deal before they run out of what you’re looking for.
