Nintendo should partner with Namco Bandai and Flickr user/designer/future toy magnate Ty Lettau and make these model kits a reality. They could name it Ninpla. I only want 1% share of all your earnings in exchange for that name. You’re welcome.

Mario gets two bodies, but Luigi gets none? Come on guys, show the skinny guy some love!

Oh, Samus. Even when you’re all sexed up in your Zero Suit, or Justin Baileyed into your bikini, you’re still supposed to be an icon of female strength and power (and just generally bad to the bone). But in amigurumi form, you’re reduced to abject cuteness. For shame!

And if that’s not bad enough, here’s the least threatening Metroid ever:

That thing’s not sucking life force–it’s sucking cuteness from the very atmosphere. Artist oddgumi ought to change that moniker to amazingumi.
